Took a while to figure this out.

Up And Down is a two volume compilation from 1999-2000

"In 2005 SmartSound Software, Inc. announced the launch of the Film Composer Series, a new royalty-free music library which gives filmmakers unprecedented access to scores created by leading industry composers. The Film Composer Series gives access to full, rich and high-quality scores for major film and television productions to filmmakers who otherwise could not afford to hire an accomplished professional composer. SmartSound is launching the Film Composer Series with six volumes of music from composer Richard Band. "
Initially they provided six volumes Vol. 1: Action Adventure"; "Vol. 2: Horror"; "Vol. 3: Drama"; "Vol. 4: Suspense"; "Vol. 5: Comedy"; and "Vol. 6: Family."

The seventh volume (year?) called Scoring Suites is provided in attax post as "sampler", it contains 10 tracks, some of which are repeated in the posts starting with Vol.7. Each files contain one of the tracks earlier provided in "sampler" in two forms a) finished mix b) seperate mixing channels. The three cinematic action tracks from ‘sampler’ are missing.
Still a rare occasion to get the separate channels …!

FYI: There are two more (not-included) SmartSound volumes (8 Heroic Adventure and 9 Mystery & Magic)

Hey Thank you for this Info. I had downloaded the the Smartsound CDs from another site and didnt knew where they came from. Yes the Up and Down is a known sampler. You can order some of Bands CDs still from his own Homepage http://richardbandmusic.com/ autographed, like Troll or the Reanimator LLL Release which I did quite some time ago.
