Dude, if the Blu-ray had an isolated score, it would have been up here MONTHS ago.

And the 5.1 mix doesn’t offer much in the way of dialogue/SFX isolation.

We just have to wait for the sessions. And wait… and wait…

Anyone who is in the trading secret circle mafia, do you know if the sessions are available by someone and have been traded but never shared, or no one has gotten it yet?

A score this big isn’t just… not there.

Give it some time (a few years, at least) and it’ll leak here eventually.

Once Batman vs. Superman comes out, the hunt for those sessions will begin, and that will be the grail. And then the next Zimmer score.. and the next one .. and the next one .. and the next one ..

I honestly need to get into them, maybe I can find something of my interest. But I have no scores to trade.

I’ll never understand why "the trading secret circle mafia" is romanticized the way it is.

John Williams sessions are next to impossible to get. We have a few, for the amount of abundant scores that he’s composed, it’s kind of crazy. Hans Zimmer doesn’t care if his stuff leaks, but he doesn’t go out of his way to try and leak them. It seems a lot of RCP sessions are around, it must have all started with them, come to think of it. Imagine if sessions didn’t exist and we had to rely on these OST releases? Ouch. I had no idea of the existence of sessions or my interest in film scores until I came here, which Spyro The Dragon music by Stewart Copeland brought me here, if I’m going to be honest. Weird, I guess.

I wanted to apologize to you Ponyo, I am sorry for harassing you earlier, you do not deserve that sort of treatment. I hope we can still be friends.

Tsk tsk tsk… I’ll never understand the hype so big for Hans Zimmer.. not saying anything against him, I just don’t. He has a good fair amount of good scores.
I’m not sure it’s much the hype, it’s just the MAJOR differences in the OST compilations compared to the film cues in the movie. They are extremely different. Zimmer likes his suites, and so does Williams, and most people here want the cues as heard in the film and in chronological order (obviously). I think that has a lot to do without, that’s why I want TASM2 as badly as I do. There are some really nice unreleased cues that were not on the OST. And the fact that the OST releases of his scores are so different to what is heard in the film, it makes it oh so much more wanted. It’s not just the hype, even though he’s one of the most popular composers for film. Because he makes that bombastic music that makes you feel like you were ‘sent here for a reason’.

Don’t worry about it, I know you didn’t mean it, and you were just having a little of a bad moment. But don’t mind it. Before you went at me, I also said sorry if my comment upset you or pissed you off when I didn’t mean it either. You’re a nice cool friend. It’s all alright. Nothing happened. 🙂

I’m not getting too excited, but it’s possible it might leak next year once there’s a new Zimmer superhero film holy grail: "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice".

Just because you’ve been waiting longer for the sessions doesn’t mean you want them more than I do!! Along with Cars by Randy Newman, ASM2 is my most wanted score bar none.

Just remembering that incident is giving me murmurs. What an idiot that guy was! Pretending he was innocent and that he didn’t mean to mislead people. Labelling the OST as the sessions and providing the sessions cue list as the track list? All by accident?? Sure thing, twit.

Some people act like if he was the saviour of the scores, like if he was a John Williams.. I don’t get it.

It’s not about him as a person. It’s about his music. If his music was rubbish, we wouldn’t be asking for it. It just so happened that so many of his scores are so damn good. If someone else writes an amazing score, we ask for that too. It’s not because it’s Zimmer – it’s because it’s frickin’ good music that just happens to be Zimmer (again).

Does that make sense, what I’m trying to say?! :p

Rare music, as you said. It wouldn’t be so collectible if it were easy to find.

I guess you think money is just as for losers as well? After all, it’s just paper and metal. Rare musical material is the currency of this forum. Either you opt to play the game, so to speak, or you don’t. Either way everyone gets the sessions in the end (some just earlier than others) so all parties involved win, right?

Not offended, just confused, Mr. Demon Monkey. You seem to not understand that we would have no leaked music at all here if it weren’t for "the trading secret circle mafia", as Ponyo calls it. People are’t happy little robots programmed to do all good all the time. If that were the case no one would steal the sessions and upload them illegally in the first place. They have personal wants and gains and desires just like you or I. And guess what? Despite all that, somehow, sessions turn up here all the time. So chill, huh?

And of course, I’m sure you love it whenever a session turns up here publicly.
