Hi everybody.

I have this beautiful piece:

https://mega.co.nz/#!3go3AK6I!Y85dhx-APJRo0MFKgs-B3kqvrOhIVdo-6Z6xPoYyetA

I think this would be an OST but sadly I dont know the name or the composer.

Do you know the name of this piece?

Please help me.

Thank you.

Don’t know. No metadata on the file, generic filename, no matches online, track itself is brief and similar to many other songs. The best clues to its origin are some nearly silent pitch-shifted voices at the beginning and end. Combine that with the tape-forwarding noise throughout, and it seems possible this could have been digitized from a cassette tape. Maybe not. But without more information, the only way to identify it is if you find the uploader or if someone happens to recognize the song and know exactly where it came from.

I swear I’ve heard this before. It sounds like it might be from BraveHeart, or something similar. Considering you could almost loop it, I’m inclined to think it came from a game, though. and that "tape-forwarding noise" sounds more like some speech that someone tried to remove. That could explain the low quality of the sound file. If anyone can figure out what’s being said in the first second of the file, it may have a clue.

I do have a question as to whether the file name was the name of the song, but if the OP’r didn’t upload that, then [as ArthurGolden stated] you’d have to get ahold of the uploader.

I recorded this piece from a tv report about sport in Spain. I removed voice of the report in order to I could hear music better. So voice or file cant help to know witch one is this piece.

This tv program usually uses OST from movies or games. But I dont recognize wich one is this and it is a pitty because its so beautiful.

I dindnt include this information before, sorry.

@cochecito How recently did you record it? I might start perusing some sports game’s OST’s to figure it out.

I recorded a month ago more or less. But they could use old OST. It is a sports TV program but they usually uses OST from films or even from games (Metal gear, Final Fantasy,… for example) so is not necesary a relation with sports OST videogames.

Thanks.

Don’t make it TOO easy for me! LOL!

The more I listen to this, the more I keep thinking of "Dances with wolves"or "The Last of the Mohicans". I think that MAY help in narrowing it down a tad. I did find a couple of Similar tracks in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, but nothing exact…

JOJOJO!

I think it is an impossible mission. I am sure is not "Dances with wolves" neither "The Last of the Mohicans" (by the way, what a wonderful OST).

Thanks for trying folks. I hope someday someone knows what piece is.
