And here’s another MGM musical (I count the Elvis "rock" musicals produced by MGM as MGM Musicals) I was able to master and compile a complete soundtrack for using the 5.1 audio track on the DVD. This soundtrack has every piece of incidental music used in the film, all the outtakes and a few bonus tracks of alternate versions. There is one track with slight applause on it but otherwise this soundtrack is SFX free.

Here are the tracks:

This soundtrack is presented in 320kbps MP3.

I know, Presley’s films were made at MGM. It’s nonetheless surprising, and funny, to hear vintage MGM tunes like "You Stepped Out of a Dream" and "That’s Entertainment", lushly played by the MGM Studio Orchestra, in … an Elvis Presley movie! 😉
Thanks again.

When I was mastering this one I laughed when I finally noticed that the plate-spinning music was actually "That’s Entertainment" lol I LOVE Elvis’ films and I wish some of his other MGM offerings (notably Girl Happy) had 5.1 mixes to work with but the only other MGM rrelease with a 5.1 track is Jailhouse Rock and I am planning to check that one to see if its a possibility to create a soundtrack for that as I was able to with this. 🙂

This one is fantastic, and thank you for sharing it here my friend!

It may be strange, surprising or even funny hearing the M-G-M Studio Orchestra in the movie underscore, but that kind of strange I’ll take all day long and grin like a pig eating slop. Without question,my favorite Elvis movie because this orchestra was involved. M-G-M did things first class.
