The Clangers: Original music from the TV series (MP3 320Kbps)

A SMALLFILMS production, written by Oliver Postgate and designed by Peter Firmin. Two series of of 13 episodes each. First series 1969, second series 1971. Name derived from the ‘clang’ of the dustbin lids they live under. Shot in an old barn in Kent. The Clangers are friendly, inventive and have wonderful manners. This is the original music used throughout the two series of ‘The Clangers’ It is taken from the quarter inch master tapes, which have been carefully stored in Oliver Postgate’s ‘Underworld’ since they were first recorded some 30 years ago. As the tapes are 30 years old, you may experience tiny changes in sound level. This cannot be helped. We hope this doesn’t impair your musical enjoyment.

Thank you for this! Ever since hearing about this soundtrack release I’ve been interested. Clangers will always be a great stop motion series or just a great series. Used to watch the "Very best of" on VHS a lot but honestly cannot remember much about it, so I hope this will be good.

Edit: I really need to find this on DVD somewhere!
