I’d like to acquire it in it’s original quality as well, thus far the very best I can find is VBR mp3.

As far as I’m aware the soundtrack was taken off the Japan Itunes sometime around 2013, I’d be willing to settle for the version that was once available on the US site but sadly that is no longer available either.
