Hi, all! I’m aiming to release a complete perfect Spirit Tracks rip and this is what I have so far. Please tell me what you think about it and if possible, let me know if there’s a program I can use to mute channels on DS music files so I can include variations that mute the lead melody lines (for indoor versions of BGM). All tracks (so far) appear by order of appearances and relevance.

Download Link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/amag2tccm8fz302/AADK_bat-IJMv1qEW8QfBdU_a?dl=0

Music by: Toru Minegishi, Manaka Kataoka, Asuka Hayazaki, and Koji Kondo. Additional rehashed music by: Kenta Nagata.

I’m also including the full lokomo songs with the pan flute included in the beginning practice parts, along with the brief little event jingles. I’m doing this because I can’t find a perfect rip anywhere.

Thanks!

Assuming that the channels are all included in the file when you convert them, you can use Audacity to mute channels. I’ve been wanting a tagged version of this for a really long time so thank you!

EDIT: I figured I’d mention that a bunch of songs have a sample rate of 32.000 while others have a sample rate of 44.100

Ahh, mistakes like that are what I need to see so I can improve! 🙂 Could you name at least one of each different sample rate so I can compare? It’s also worth noting that the soundtrack has lots of streamed tracks. Audacity won’t let me check each channel for the sequenced (93% of the OST), but maybe it has to be a certain audio file?

EDIT: Never mind, I just realised that my Audacity exports as 44.100 so I’ll make it stick to the 32.000 sample rate 🙂 I think it still means that they are all ultimately 32.000

Best presentation of this soundtrack so far imo. Thanks for this!
