Again the versitility of John Scott as a composer is shown. He weaves his jazzy score with some bitter sweet melodies to capture the turmoil of the 1930’s
The restoration was made from a British LP copy at 24 bit transfer. The score has never been released on CD. Tracks 1-13 are the film score Tracks 14-18 are various period songs from the film.
It takes time and effort in recording these selections so would be good to see some of the folks here share a few things of rarity. And as always buy and share a few Cds and Lps to support the music industry
Music composed and conducted by John Scott

will listen to it and give my impressions! thanks again
a typical Scott score that stands out in the aquatic parts, like the lake. This man was born to make music for the sea, lakes, water in general, probably a frustrated seaman like myself
thanks for your hard work, the sound in some tracks is quite good, but more importantly, without your transfer Id never listened to this, so you’re doing magic as far as Im concerned.
Now I want to see the movie.
Thank you very much for the link.
