Because Spotify rip is not real 320kbps, which is more like 128Kbps. If you rip it as 320Kbps or lossless and post it on the internet, it will spead around the internet and confuse with real ones. That’s the bad thing.

Actually, Spotify Premium does stream at 320. The free version streams at 128k.

I don’t have a premium account, but I checked the spectrum of the rip, it is obvious that the spectrum above 16KHz is much thinner than below. So I don’t think it’s as good as real 320Kps.
