I wonder….could this film possibly be the most anticipated sequel of all time?
I wonder….could this film possibly be the most anticipated sequel of all time?
It’s gonna be the biggest movie in history I just know it.
That’s what was said about The Phantom Menace and look how that turned out.

Well, NO movie will EVER live up to the hype that’s generated by a film like this. Fans naturally expect so much, that even if it’s spectacular, it will rarely live up to thepreconceived legend we’ve placed upon it. It took me a full 2 years to actually see how great TDK was, simply because I loved BB SO much, that I felt let down by the TDK initially… And for no other reason than my own standards put upon it, pre-release. If that makes sense.
I think there are only two movies I’ve ever seen that went above and beyond my expectations: The Winter Soldier and Interstellar.
I know what you mean. I have high hopes for Age of Ultron, for instance, but I really worry that I’ll be let down when I see it. The first Avengers was a real disappointment to me for some reason.
I don’t see what’s so great about TWS. Honestly, it was a bit of a let-down for me. TDK and TDKR both lived up to the hype, as did Inception and Interstellar

At least I’m not the only one let down by the first one. It’s very low on my list of Marvel Movies. I have a lot more hope for Age of Ultron just for that reason. Same with THOR. Hated the first and the second was way better.
Anyway thanks for sharing this!
Great directing. Great cinematography. Great music. Great writing. The Winter Soldier was extremely menacing, and the action was impeccable.
It also was more than just an action movie; it had elements of a political thriller. I love the idea that comic book movies can transcend simple action and adventure and be something more.
Thor 2 was stupid. The first one was all right, but I don’t like Natalie Portman.

EDIT: Nevermind. Half the music in the trailer I don’t recognize.
… prove it.
If we could remove "any sfx" with a Sony product then we wouldn’t have to wait around for sessions.

"One thing to note here is that the music in the trailer is from prior Star Wars score recordings; it isn’t new, and it isn’t even re-recorded versions of prior cues."
This is wrong. It’s obviously new, atleast everything up to Yoda and the Force at least.
Ever since i saw the second teaser on youtube i wanted the music for this. Really, sounds stupid, but my tears coming out when i just hear this.
You really isolated the music very good. And when i hear some sfx, itοΏ½s so quiet but in the same time it fits to the music! π
Thanks.
Two words, or one name.
George Lucas.
Okay, so I know that just because George Lucas isn’t having anything to do with this one it doesn’t mean it’s going to rock, but given that George had 100% creative control over the prequels and nowhere near that much over the original trilogy, that fact alone gives me some hope. Plus, Kasdan co-wrote both Episodes V and VI.
As SkeletonMan said – prove it. I have NEVER heard ANYTHING completely remove SFX and speech without any noticeable trace of distorsion.
EDIT: there were no stems π
Yeah, according to hack3rman no stems were posted for the first one either. Too bad…
And coming soon: Batman vs. Superman! I’ll make a new thread for that.

Two words, one name: J.J Abrams
Would Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford return to Star Wars 30+ years later if it was The Phantom Menace 2.0? Think logically now.
How would they know if it were to become Phantom Menace 2.0?
When approached, they are told a synapse of what the film is going to be about. Things that we, the general public, still don’t know.
Nerds everywhere are going to orgasm in their pants once Disney officially reveals that the Sith villain of the film is actually Darth Revan.
I doubt anyone involved in The Phantom Menace knew that it would be so reviled among Star Wars fans.
Harrison Ford came back for Indy 4 and people whined about it. He knew what the plot was and still did it anyway, even though aliens really aren’t Indiana Jones-ish at all.

Exactly, as much of his career as he has spent trying to forget about Star Wars, his appearance in this episode smacks of trying to stay relevant, amongst other things.
Of course, I could be wrong… I haven’t kept up with interviews and such on this. MAYBE, like many before him, he has finally accepted, embraced and found appreciation for the role that put him on the map, and gave him his illustrious career!
You mean the guy who successfully restarted the Star Trek franchise?
Not only that, but the first guy to direct a Star Trek film and a Star Wars film π
Oh, yes. We have a directorial crossover, now we just need an actor crossover.
Also same guy who then almost crib-death’ed the franchise with the second film.
I think if you really want to blame somebody for this film (which to me still stands up better than the majority of the ‘cursed’ films in the series even if it does have its problems) you’d be wiser to blame the writers.
I would hardly refer to writers as tools (though some might in this case use that specific word). It’s like not blaming an actor for the way they play their role.
Let me put it another way. Did you blame George Lucas for how the Prequels came out? Yes, I bet you did. Why was that? It certainly wasn’t because of his directing (even if he isn’t a brilliant director, remember he still wrote and directed the original film). When it comes to the prequels, many people are happy to blame the script. Why does that not apply here? Is it one rule for Lucas, another for everybody else?
Regardless, if you didn’t like Into Darkness, that’s fine and fair enough, but to say that it almost caused the franchise to die is a harsh overstatement, and I think just pinning it on the director is no good at all.
We already do… Darth Vader was a Borg in disguise

Of course I blame Lucas because he both wrote or co-wrote and directed the prequels. As director he decides who to cast in each role, he decides how the sets look, he decides how the actors interpret the script, that he wrote, and he decides if the shot will be a wide, medium or close up. That’s what a director does, he decides and his decisions make or break a film. (I spent most of my adult life in radio and TV and have been on a few movie sets, so I have hands on experience.)
Abrams approved a script that his long time collaborators Orci and Kurtzman wrote. One that was filled with a bunch of WTF scenes that made no sense other than to look cool on screen. (Like submerging the Enterprise. That scene not only strained the laws of physics but story telling as well.)
And since the audience is the ultimately arbiter of such matters, the Star Trek reboot made $257,730,019 at the box office while Into Darkness made $228,778,661.
The audience voted with their wallets and sequel made less than the reboot.
If people were truly ‘voting with their wallets’ then a film such as The Hobbit 2 (#13, if you’re wondering) should have easily knocked STID off that slot (to me, The Hobbit is the superior movie, though).
Okay, okay, that’s enough derailing the thread anyway. Let’s just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

And? Seagulls are nothing compared to lasers and explosions and Ben Burtt’s great sounds.
If Spectral Layer is so cool why don’t you try doing it yourself?
Yes, darth2602, please take a crack at it!! If it is at all possible to completely eliminate the sound effects from this, I am all for it! As an added bonus, I would love to hear the music from the first teaser completely stripped of the dialogue and sound effects too. π

It’ll make $1 billion on the first day.
Just kidding. But maybe $200 million the first weekend isn’t beyond reason.

(First one is Rachmaninoff and second John Williams)
Playing Teaser 2 by John Williams – picosong (http://picosong.com/gRPy/)
The use of melody sure is different from each other. What do you guys think?
I can forgive Williams for not conducting the whole thing; Ross did a good job with Chamber of Secrets anyway.

Actually Williams reused a part from a track from Episode V (this part https://youtu.be/vcSpxLIpozI?t=2m59s ) . Maybe this track was once influecend by Rachmaninoff. But I guess it is just coincidence.

Is it still online?
Looks to be:
No other choice.
Now look what y’all did, made me bump the dumb thing as well!
Wait, I did it again! Oh No!
We’re all just exercising our excitement quotients that will culminate for most of us this coming Thursday night.
no
Now look what y’all did, made me bump the dumb thing as well!
Patience. Do you lack that?
P A T I E N C E
Geez, it’s free.
Patience. Do you lack that?
Always.
how long does it take this sound track to leak
I know right! I miss the good ole days when soundtracks leaked weeks, sometimes a month early. I guess everyone is scared of the wrath of Mickey Mouse.
Now look what y’all did, made me bump the dumb thing as well!
I hope you’re just being silly. If you’re serious in thinking that this will be posted before Friday, I feel sorry for you.
I doubt even Scoreman or Scorepranos have it. Hell, Williams himself doesn’t even have it lol
Of course, just mess’n around. I do think I’m more excited about the score then the actual film though.
Rumor is that the legal Siths at Disney had taken John Williams to Anchorhead and had his memory erased until Friday. After midnight he can download his mind from iTunes again and remember what it was he scored.
The same video has a bombastic Leia’s theme that was replaced by the piano plinking from the Football Trailer.
You mean the CMX track? Interesting.
yea disney went crazy over someone posting a picture of a legally purchased action figure just imagine how they will be with the soundtrack lol
Yeah, I think it was either music for Kylo Ren on the Destroyer doing his Dialogue, or it was just an intro that was never meant to be used.

But it does have the unused bit from the Football Trailer at 8:51!
How do you know this? I am assuming either this leaked in the private Trailer music circles, or Ursine themeselves confirmed the title.
many thanks in advance
Can you upload once again, please? π
Thx
