Ok, so before you all jump on me for making this thread after PheeSees shared the "Frozen 2cd (Complete)" several weeks ago, let me explain why I decided to make this separate thread. Firstly, I figured this score deserved a proper thread, not just a post with one sentence and a link (which is now dead). So this thread has a proper tracklist and some artwork (designed by yours truly), presented in an aesthetically pleasing layout. But that is all besides the point. The real reason I decided to share this was because what PheeSees shared was not the sessions – it was a combination of the sessions and the songs from the OST. The songs had been given slate numbers and made to look like they had come with the sessions, but, when I imported it, iTunes immediately detected the difference in sources and separated all the songs into an album by themselves titled "Frozen (2-Disc Deluxe Edition Soundtrack)", complete with the OST artwork, individual track tags, and track names without slate numbers, and the score/sessions into a separate album titled "Frozen OST" with no year, no artwork, and no individual tags. That album was clearly the raw sessions, and that is what I have shared here. So for those here who find the songs irritating (and I know there are probably a few of you), this is just the score, with no songs. Hopefully PheeSees won’t mind me making this thread, as he himself said this score "is not special" (I respectfully disagree). So to sum up all of the above, this is not an identical copy of PheeSees’ upload. This is just the sessions – no more, no less.

Depends really. I enjoyed the film overall, but I will never admit that it has replaced Toy Story 3 as the highest grossing animated film of all time. That pretty much sums up my thoughts on this. I enjoy this score overall (Christophe Beck is always enjoyable), but it’s definitely not Toy Story 3.

I know what you mean. I was waiting for those two Harry Potter scores for years and "PheeSees" just slapped ’em here with one or two sentences for context, if even that. No tracklist, no artwork, no nothing. Underwhelming as a thread, to say the least. :notgood:

Couldn’t agree more with you both. I hate it when uploaders can’t be bothered to make a proper thread. It’s a chance to be creative, and use, commission, or design some great artwork, for crying out loud! C’mon!

Sparktank in particular made kickass-looking threads. We need more folks like him who take the time to type up threads that are actually interesting to read, as opposed to just "here’s the link kthnxbai".

deluxe version for cd having some instrumental. itunes deluxe having other. i think all for existing, but not finding lossless (digital release for only itunes).

You did right. People like PheeSees don’t seem to understand that other people may be purists or just want to make an informed decision about EXACTLY what they are listening too. No one should insert himself into an existing piece of work without telling anyone about it.

Are these the same as what’s on the 3-disc "Special Gift Pack" set?

No they’re the real deal from the film soundtrack itself and actually match the score for levels among other things. They’re not from any official CD release either (compare mine and the ones from that in a sound editor). As it happens, when I first got the 2 disc edition that was posted before, I dropped all the OST songs from it and inserted these instead. You know me – I like my instrumental only scores haha!

Those weren’t stems, they were isolated audio elements from the actual film soundtrack itself James. A stem for the record, is something quite different entirely!
