Extracted from latest PC game.Include Dlc.
Original files 975 ogg.
I let them as they was extracted.Who have patience and knowledge about mixing as in game i beg made a full score from this.
In folder 1 first is brian tyler score far cry 3+far cry 4.I dont know why they add bt in fc4…
Tracks are unsorted so maybe you can find ambiental sounds.Tracks who must be mixed are named like that:2_21_L1 , 2_21_L2 , 2_21_L3 (L1 L2 L3)(LAYERS)
In audacity you can mix all layers.
My opinion is like that:
Layer3 should be first
3-first lonely.
3+2-mixed.
3+2+1-mixed
I listen original soundtrack and i made few experiments.Sound exactly like ost if you mix how i explain there.
If you know more than me please show me what you got.Maybe you played the game!
i spend over 12 hours to split that 2.43 gb archive into many parts for Zench tool be able to scan for all sounds…
Millions sounds was founded wich was voices, steps, sound car etc..i remove all that garbages and let only 32.000 hz ogg’s.
I know this is a madness but if insist you can made do a proper rip.
Please dont save as mp3 after mixing.Save as wav or flac.
Respect my work and comment here.
Goodluck!

Good to hear that. Can’t wait for!
I forgot to ask:
did you included in mixing of layers that first ambiental L1 or you just made the same like in original soundtrack?
1 Example:you mixed 1+2 then 1+2+3 ?
2 For some tracks (3Layers) i arranged 1 wich is ambient then 1+2 mixed,1+2+3 mixed.
Is that correct?1 example or 2?

What is good from your opinion?
This I show I have mixed that very same tracks – https://mega.co.nz/#!CRp1TQwQ!w9s8-92IlUhCaF4dAfRkEJx9GKomCzCfDk8FcFKEtyI
But because you done what i can’t done i will wait your project.Of course if you plan to start a new thread.
Appreciate your work.Your work is good. You mixed good and thanks for keep the same bitrate, saved as flac.N1.
However, what I may do is upload perhaps 3 cd’s worth of material, as kind of a ‘best of/expanded’ release, as this will be easier for me to upload as 1 zip file and wont be too, as you say, repetitive on the listener.
I shall go through the released version of the score and make sure not to add any cues already released, unless the actual in-game cue is shorter, or different in anyway, than the released cue.
I have yet to complete the full rip myself. I have played through the game and completed it, in the sense that I have complete the story missions and the side quests I did whilst doing the story mission; but there are several cues still that I have not come across, which I am guessing are side quest related – RE: Shagri-La side quests, with which I have done 3 of the 5 quests. And I am sure there are a few tracks that I have simply not come across in some shape or form, whilst playing the game itself. Also, as an aside, the cut-scene music tends to be different when you play the game, choosing Sabal and when you choose Amita; I also think some of the side missions you do for each has different music, so I will need to go back into the game and play it as Amita as the side of choice, as my initial play-through was siding with Sabal!
I hope all that makes sense lol!
Please tell me why the link to download the file, it doesn’t work ?

A shame that hard work is wasted now that the files are offline. Would you consider reuplaoding?
