That’s the other thing – the fact he never uses a user-friendly upload site like MEGA proves he’s only doing it for the money.

Fortunately I can wait for this until late May, when the CD is released and legitimate rips are posted, including in FLAC. No doubt Track 23 is broken because THE OFFICIAL DIGITAL RELEASE DOESN’T COME OUT UNTIL APRIL 28TH.

Hey Sully, you and I are like the only ones to ever make him respond directly. Usually, he does like he did here, repost the link further down, to bury comments and make his link first seen. I do not mind so much that he reposts the official albums. But it should be mirrored in the original thread. And yes, crappy hosts, but the more active links, the better chance it will live.

What I despise is when he takes custom rips and posts them as his own and as official albums, giving no credit to the op that did all the editing, ripping and tagging. He especially poaches the custom artwork with no credit. I have called him on it many times. Even in his own blog, but he just deletes the comment there.

He can’t be banned for this though since the only forum rule he technically breaks is creating new threads and not mirrors. Other than that, he can just say he found it elsewhere, and there are no written rules about that here. Sure, he lacks class and manners, but he breaks no rule so mods won’t ban him. If anything, our aggressive comments break more rules and start the issues. Meh, he’s a dick. It is best to just ignore him and accept the inevitable.

What really bothers me is when he takes a custom project – or something along those lines – and essentially labels it as his own in a new thread, along with any custom covers he might be taking without permission from the artist.

In terms of forum rules he’d doing nothing wrong; that doesn’t stop him from being one of the biggest jerks on this forum.

Indeed, I also was quite surprised when he responded directly. I’ve nagged at him several times in the past with no response, but it would seem I finally got through to him this time. He even had the cheek to send me a friend request after I posted in this thread this morning, which I obviously ignored. It was then that he told me to stop "spamming".

I guess you’re right, Amanda. But it’s hard to just sit back and ignore. Can’t the mods ban him on the basis that he’s a consistent trouble-maker?? Ah well.

the one shared by yrcfrank (Thread 188605) is the official itunes release from hong kong. something like was done before, mainly in russia to prevent pirate leaks. besides, track 23 was fixed (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/brian-tyler-danny-elfman-avengers-age-ultron-188605/5.html#post2940512) as well.
in short: we have a legit release 😉

This tapoktro situation is quite depressing. Just like in the real world, the righteous people raise their voice to denounce mistreatment and abuse from the people in power, only to be prosecuted for trying to defend their rights. So sad 🙁

In the real world we just have one word for such people like him…..that word is asshole!

By now, he KNOWS what is a custom cover or not, and custom set or not. He just does not care. And aside from being annoying, it misleads folks on his blog. Years from now someone is gonna be looking for the Sleepy Hollow TV score, sure it exists because they saw it somewhere. C: Jessie already explained he and other mods basically cannot prove where an archive came from. Anything can be floating around once posted and this guy can just claim he found it somewhere else. Mods cannot prove otherwise. Many of the stuff I supply in the request thread are found from other users on SoulSeek. Can I be banned for presenting them to requesters here?

Happy to be a 1 percenter on something!

I saw the movie today (France), The Movie is really cool and a lot of action scene (epic ! with Hulk !) BUT…because there is a BUT, It’s (for me) less than the first one. You will see that soon, but that’s my opinion. I love this movie, a really good action-super hero movie, it’s also a bit dark (especially for one character). 🙂
