I Cant Wait To Have It Soon
So, do you have it and now want some sessions in return and unless they are posted you’ll hold this until kingdom come (or a few days) ?
I Cant Wait To Have It Soon
This is just…..
:disgust:
I HAVE THE SESSIONS. PM ME.
Hey, my post count hit 666. Pardon me while I check for strange birthmarks. Or horns. The Devil sort not the Miles Davis sort. (Rather have the pointy kind than a trumpet sprouting from my noggin.)
You can’t be serious lol;)
I HAVE THE SESSIONS. PM ME.
PLEASE POST AGE OF ULTRON SESSIONS
AS A THANK YOU I WILL POST CAPTAIN AMERICA WINTER SOLDIER SESSIONS
"Oh, ho, ho, irony! Oh, no, no, we don’t get that here. We haven’t had any irony here since about, uh, ’83, when I was the only practitioner of it. And I stopped because I was tired of being stared at."
Irony, like comprehensive reading, is, at times, a lost art form.
AND STOP YELLING! YOU’LL WAKE THE BABY!
AS A THANK YOU I WILL POST CAPTAIN AMERICA WINTER SOLDIER SESSIONS
*sigh* If only you guys were serious…
PM ME FOR INFO
HOW IRONIC, TONY!
Isn’t Batman V Superman considered to be MAN OF STEEL 2? lol
And regarding BvS, you guys should check this out

You’re welcome
Was Courage one of them? :p

Got passes to the IMAX trailer of B vs S so I’ll post my take on it once I’m home.
It’ll be hard for B v. S to top that.
It’ll be hard for B v. S to top that.
Marvel needs a few lessons in marketing from Disney (which is weird considering they own Marvel) about how to do a proper trailer not teasers of teasers and retweets for teaser posters and other crap they’ve been pulling recently. Excellent trailer. Kylo Ren seems somewhat of Darth Revan rehash.
BVS has no chance, after the MoS debacle and the whole MCU rollout plan it’ll take no less than a miracle for DC to get back up. I like Snyder but everything we know about BVS has me bored completely.
Same here. But in my situation… need I remind anyone that I haven’t actually seen any of them yet?

Debacle? I saw no debacle.
Maybe the delay by an entire year?
Stupid that the game’s not canon anymore though.
And can I get an "Amen" (cue Killgrave posting a Saul Goodman gif here) that Hulk looks horribly disproportionate? His one arm has a life of it’s own and seems as if it’s about to break off his body and go take on Ultron all by itself. Looking forward to the wave of covers to come so I can replace that. Furthermore, shouldn’t there be an ampersand (&) between Tyler & Elfman?
BVS isn’t Man of Steel 2. DC has MOS 2 lined up for after BVS and Justice League
As for nationalities: Chris Nolan and Christian Bale are Brits by way of America, Gadot is Israeli, Hemsworth Australian and Bettany Brit by the way of Britain. It’s a small world after all.
As an actor I don’t like him and I absolutely cannot stand it when celebrities stick their noses in politics and go public with their views. And I have a hard time separating that from their acting. This is the same reason I hate his bff Matt Damon. And for the record, (not directed at you, just stating for the general public becasue people seem to forget) they are not Academy Award-Winning actors. They are Academy Award-Winning writers, and Affleck is an Academy Award-Winning director as well. But they’ve never won an Oscar for their acting. I don’t see the day coming any time soon
this pretty much sums it up (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyIpPMijEVo)
First off, Brian Tyler’s hair is amazing and Danny would kill for lock of that.
Now, the whole BvS thing seems to have diluted down to casting choices. Look, one of the many things I don’t with it is why did they kickstart the hype machine a full two/three years before release, I mean that’s bound to fizzle out by the time you’d actually need some sparks.
The title sucks too. Either call it Dawn of Justice or Batman vs. Superman, it’s like they couldn’t pick which one was was better so they crammed both of them together in a needlessly long title. Or just call it something along the lines of The World’s Finest, which could also be a good lead-in to JL. The BvS: DoJ title would work if the whole ‘Enter The Knight’ thing was happening.
Dark Knight Returns is one of my favorite Batman stories and it seems that this one will be based at least partially on that. That’s good. What’s not good is cramming a dozen other major characters in whose origins will be explored in later movies of their own. I mean, what their presence here is a trial run and what if the public don’t like it WB’ll simply recast it, what? Even explaining it doesn’t make sense.
The new Batmobile and suit sucks. There.
Also, the same problem with Spider-man’s happening here (although not as much). Batman. People have a pretty great idea of what kinda guy Batman is. Nolan and Bale’s Batman. Now they want us to scrap that and get to terms with a ‘tired and weary version’ that Affleck is playing. Just like that. I mean why not just pick off where Rises left off. The same Wayne only older etc., it would work.
Before I forget, the casting. I don’t dislike actors for their off-screen antics or whatnot. If they can act, it’s okay. Affleck is a pretty good actor (not one of the best ones but not the worst either) methinks esp. after Gone Girl. But that does not mean I’ll forgive him for Gigli. Affleck as Batman though, hmmmm. I am a little skeptical but then again Affleck has the tendency to surprise me once in a while (even if Argo didn’t). We’ll see. I think the whole ‘American characters should be solely portrayed by American actors’ thing needs to go. If the actor is capable of doing it and if they get their accents right, why not? Look at Cavill or Bale etc. or the countless other actors who adopt languages (well, accents in most cases) and cultures and ideals to act, to pretend, to be interesting people from places that don’t necessarily have to be home. I consider it a nice talent to have to be able to portray characters from other countries well. Now, moving to the others. Momoa was an excellent Khal Drogo but apart from that, maybe it was an excellent audition . Mark Strong, Denzel Washington, Tom Hanks and Idris Elba were all considered for Lex Luthor. Adam Driver and Joaquin Phoenix turned the role down before Jesse Eisenberg was cast, I mean what the hell were they looking for. Now, Eisenberg is (almost Heisenberg :)not the time) not a bad actor. I’ve seen a lot of his films unintentionally. He certainly has the potential esp. after The Social Network but again why bother cramming him in there too. Malone is an excellent choice for Carrie Kelly (best thing for Robin ever) and on top of that she’s a good actress. jeremy Irons is going to be an awesome Alfred, although I’d have also like Timothy Dalton. Gadot is former Israeli military (or paramilitary, I forget) but the only place I’ve seen her if the FF series. She is physically a stick essentially (not hating, just that the character demands some muscular bulk) and has almost no acting chops. She’s maybe a tad better than the usual model-to-actress conversions but not dramatically so.
So overall, we need some trailers before arriving at a conclusion but I’m sure it’ll prolly just be the usual ‘DUM-DUM-DUM’ with Batman narrating and the epilepsy-inducing bursts of action shots (basically a glorified slide show) followed by one or two really stylish shot shown in full.
At this point if I had to choose between the two, I’m more hopeful for SW:TFA over this one. J.J. may be obsessed with flares but at least he makes good movies with a some consistency (I think his Superman Returns was very underrated actually), Snyder on the other hand is coming from Sucker Punch and MoS, both of which were not bad but they were severely flawed in one way or the other. And then Goyer who penned the glorious sequel to Ghost Rider, recently.
All right, I’m out of here.
Something on soundcloud?

Without getting into a "I hate this, you like that" debate, I didn’t like MoS because it focused on the action and several problems with the writing really brought it down for me. My opinion is kind of the opposite: I like Ben Affleck, it’s just before he’s been in some really bad movies. Gone Girl kind of made me realize that he is a good actor, he just needs a good script. My concerns also lay with Gal Gadot (she has NOT been a good actress in the Fast and Furious series, then I again I dislike the series to begin with). But, I digress. All due respect to your opinion. It’ll be interesting to see the trailer on Monday and who knows? Maybe it will be a good movie. Just my two cents I guess.
I can’t even begin to digest the hilarity of what I’ve just read xDDDDDDD!!!

As a stright man, I will say this: Brian Tyler is gorgeous. He looks like a male model. I wouldn’t mind if I looked like him
I gotta agree. That aside, if I weren’t a fan of his work, I’d say that this would be more concerning than inspiring. It’s clear that he spends an important part of his energy on keeping his image, which may or may not (depending on each one’s opinion) reflect on his works.
This thread can die in peace now.

I watched it 2 hours ago. The quality is shit and there’s European subtitles. I was expecting more….
Also, why the collaboration with Elfman on this? I figured he’d be doing it solo since he did IM3. If anything I would have expected Silvestri to be his partner. Wonder why he didn’t come back? I really, REALLY hope they keep the Avengers theme though, I love musical continuity.
Current rumor is that Tyler was fired (Thread 188104)
Musical continuity is something Marvel cannot seem to grasp. That’s at least one thing DC did right with TDK Trilogy. Hoping BvS carries MoS’s themes over

That would be unfortunate. I see you’re not a fan of his work, but I really enjoyed Iron Man 3 and Thor 2. I also like a lot of his other work (Assassin’s Creed, Enterprise), so I was excited for Avengers. Now you’ve worried me!!
And yeah, I don’t get the lack of musical continuity when their movies embody the current state of continuity. Very weird.
And yeah, I don’t get the lack of musical continuity when their movies embody the current state of continuity. Very weird.
Yeah I just don’t like him. I don’t hate, I just dislike. The Iron Man 3 theme is nice, but I couldn’t tell you what the f Thor 2 sounds like. And I also love his Marvel fanfare. Children of Dune I think is his masterpiece. That’s something that’s always been and will always be on my ipods/iphones. Other than that, don’t care for his work
I’ve actually never heard his Children of Dune work, heh. 😡 I liked the IM3 music after a while, and I really like Thor 2, even though it isn’t easily definable, like you said. Are you a Star Trek fan at all? His work on "Regenerations" is fantastic.
As for BvS, while I’m approaching it with trepidation, that teaser was all kinds of awesome. MoS was a disappoint to me mostly because of Goyer, so with him now taking a back seat in the writing department and Terrio taking over, I’m starting to feel hopeful that the story and dialogue won’t suck like they did last time.
I like films that challenge me, that show me something new, that are real in the way that they explores human emotions and actions. I don’t enjoy most of what Marvel does because they focus too much on comedy and I can never care about the characters or the stakes involved. Even The Winter Soldier had Black Widow cracking one liners all the time and it drove me nuts. Thankfully, Daredevil proved to be an exception to that rule, and aside form a weak ending, was very, very good.
The scores have also been very disappointing. I find it ironic that for a studio built around the idea of interconnectedness, that the way they treat the music for their films is so dreadful, hiring a new composer for practically every film, even direct sequels. How many times have themes been carried over from one film to another? Once, with Cap’s theme in Thor 2, and now Age of Ultron. Two films out of 10? That’s a horrible track record. It also doesn’t help that they hire sub-par composers. Debney surprised me (I’ve never been a big fan of his rom-com style), but Silvestri, Tyler, Jackman, Bates, Elfman & Beck are all boring and unimaginative choices.
I was very confused when Snyder cast Affleck. Out of all the actors around his age, they picked him? I’m still not certain he was the best choice. But, what’s done is done and he actually seems to be okay in the role. What I find disappointing, though, is that I was starting to come around to Affleck after his directing career, and he seemed like an okay guy.
Then he did this:

Let’s just pretend the version of Black Widow from TWS doesn’t exist. She seemed different – way too different – than her Iron Man 2/Avengers roles. I did not care for her in TWS

And that’s why I hate him with a passion. You missed it earlier when I mentioned how he sticks his nose in politics and gets very political, which is something that actors should just not do (his bffs Matt Damon and George Clooney are notorious for this as well). His political views aside, I do not like him as an actor. But I’ll still be seeing BvS
I chalked it up to her (probably) dating Banner and her friendliness with Cap. I actually enjoyed her slightly more, she seemed badass AND approachable.
It started when someone decided to change her hair for TWS and it all went downhill from there….

I agree. It’s tolerable to a certain extent when an actor is actually well informed on an issue and can speak coherently and intelligently on a topic, but more often than not they have no idea what they’re talking about and just come off as major tools. To quote another example of an actor speaking out of turn on Maher’s show, Mos Def debated fucking Christopher Hitchens AND Salman Rushdie on nuclear weapons. And to think he starred in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
Oh man! I loved her hair in TWS! I’m so glad the 00s fad of short hair is going away. The long curly locks in IM2 were pretty boss too.
I really liked her look for TWS. Widow in the comics has long, straight-ish hair, so it was nice to see her actually looking like the character she’s supposed to play. What I didn’t like was how husky her voiced sounded. How many packs a day does she smoke, anyways? And now with AoU, half of the time she’s onscreen it’s a stunt double with her head CGI’d on. It looks like shit. And I absolutely hate the BW/Banner dating thing.
It’s definitely a bummer about AoU, but with her being pregnant, at least it’s understandable. It would have been way more frustrating if she refused to do stunts or something.
Exclusive: hear a track from the Avengers: Age of Ultron soundtrack – Tyler News (http://www.classicfm.com/composers/tyler/news/avengers-age-of-ultron-soundtrack/#2J2FrXJKqr651qXW.97)
This track is credited to Brian Tyler, and it’s pretty good. If you listen closely, you can catch a bit of Tyler’s Iron Man theme toward the end.
There’s a "secret" 29th track that plays at the end of the CD. Reports say it’s the end titles by Danny Elfman.

This sounds very promising! I fucking love this
Wow, this sounds really different.
It sounds comical. I invision the Avenger team running through doors in a hallway chasing after Ultron in a Scooby Doo fashion.

Wait, this was after he did Argo?!

As a gay guy, I can say Tyler is *just* ok. 🙂
@Courage
I’ll trade you Jerry Goldsmith’s sessions of Basket Case pt5, for this. 🙂 😛
Did someone mention irony a few posts back?
That’s exactly what I thought. He fell for the same trap that most of my fellow liberals fall for which is painting all religions with the same brush. All religions are NOT equally as good or bad. Christianity in a lot of ways is just as bad or worse than Islam, but it has been tempered by secular and modern thinking over the years. No sane person who calls themselves a Christian actually believes slavery, sexism or genocide is a good thing, whereas it is mainstream belief in the Muslim world that jihad/martyrdom, as well as death to infidels and apostates is the will of God.
Quakers don’t kill you for making cartoons of George Fox.
Did someone mention irony a few posts back?
Oh yeah, this is after Argo. This is only a few months ago
Seriously.
Nice to hear an Iron Man nod in there at the end.
On a side note, I’d love to hear more composers commentaries on their own scores. That’d be awesome.
For those who can’t find the ”Rise Together” track.
Ummm, last time I checked we were discussing soundtrack details for Tyler and Elfman’s AoU score.
Ehhh… No
Mad Max sounds awful, the only score by Junkie, i like was 300.
But Max, OMG, awful

Please enlighten us where you got the Fury Road OST from. Because you’re judging it as if you’ve heard the entire thing…
I talking about the samples, not the entire score, and sounds awful… and i talking from a Zimmer fan, but, bufffff
Right. You’re judging 30-second samples. Wait for the full OST. I’m not saying you’ll like them even then, but still. Just like at times you cannot judge a 2-hr film by a 2-min trailer
Been meaning to ask – does Deadpool live in the Haunted Mansion?!
It’s certainly plausible now that he’s owned by Disney!
But I was using this avatar before I switched to using those Haunted Mansion avatars…. Then switched back when I heard the news of the film!

Yeah. It’s good to see you back again, Deadpool. Better than a skeleton imo. 😉
Honestly, it seems as though Bates was so into scoring Furious 7 that he didn’t have the time to develop enough good, creative stuff for this movie….I guess we’ll see. He’s at least good at reprising/variating old themes of his (taking Furious 7 into consideration)
I love a lot of things

The Guardians of the Galaxy tracks told us that Groose died.
Well, they did both die. But Groot is a plant, so . . .
I want to hear it tooooo!
What would I possibly have to gain by lying about it? Ridiculous. Yes, I’ve heard the whole album about twice through, I have it streaming at work right now… The "Avengers Theme" from the first movie is scattered throughout and it’s wonderful. Really stoked.
I’ll sort out a rip later tonight if there’s a demand for it, but rips usually suck and I’m not a fan. The iTunes release will be soon enough…
Or at least, I can 😀 Bring it on!! D:

You said it. I’m particularly interested in what Tyler has conjured for the Vision.
Geez, you’re acting like its a Marvel film or something

The only reason this thread has gone on for so long is that the current mod for this section of the forum has been absent for unspecified reasons.
The mod doesn’t need to answer to us why they felt the need to attend to their personal lives.
We’ve been too fucking spoiled for too long.
And, all of you know it.
USA is always the most arogant country so they should have it first before anyone.
Everytime I try to watch a fucking trailer on youtube or some special feature American assholes are always telling me I’m in the wrong fucking country.
So whichever assholes has it, fucking rip it already to shut the rest of the stupid fucking forum up.
Fuck sakes man.
This shit is getting out of hand.
fuck fuck fuck you all.
Yeah, sounds just like a Tyler score. I wonder if Elfman’s tracks are uninteresting as well…
still, would be nice to hear all of it if anyone with access manages a rip 🙂
one thing is kind of amusing though 😀 the same people who get very hurt if you say anything bad about zimmer, have no problems dissing tyler… just a thought… i can honestly say that some of zimmer is VERY bland, but the same thing goes for tyler
