Romantic Songs from Movies and Shows – 2 CD Vocal Compilation

This is a somewhat eclectic compilation of mostly romantic themed songs from movies and shows which includes some standards which I admire solely for the vocal performances while the majority are obscure songs from even more obscure motion pictures and albums that have become guilty listening pleasures over the years which I find myself listening to more often than I care to admit. One of the more interesting aspects of this collection is just how much wonderful music has become forgotten or unheard undeservedly because of the misfortune of having been associated with some less than stellar films and shows.
