Count me out! I’ve only seen this film once and only saw it so I could go see Deathly Hallows in theatres. With the exception of Azkaban and DH, HP isn’t my thing

The questions I have are, who are you? How did you get involved with these things internally, and how can this forum essentially corrupt you as you’re alluding to?

I don’t know, maybe it’s because I now take things with a grain of salt and don’t let anything here get to me personally (the negatives at least) because the real world is just that much harsher day to day, but I can’t see that kind of thing consuming me like that…but then again I’m not on the inside of what’s going on. I’ve heard of exactly none of these things circulating at all. Oh well.

Sorry if I said anything offensive earlier in this thread. I was feeling stressed and sick, and was frustrated by the idea of not sharing just because a score costs a lot of money, When I buy scores it’s usually for the very purpose of sharing them (although not here because I don’t want my purchases available to the general public for reasons of helping the record labels, instead I’m in a small private group). But I was not trying to personally attack anyone.

Also, the Of Love And War cue was the original music for the Quidditch practice scene. Curiously the CD had the School Life cue used when Harry and Hermione were in the library before Slughorn’s party, when it was written when Harry and Ron were in the school corridors before Slughorn’s first class.

If hahah123 compared this set to the film to name all the tracks and those are nameless, odds are that they weren’t used on the film.

Yeah, I’ve listened to this a couple times and there are some cues that I can’t recall hearing ever. A few might be alternate takes. I dunno.

I’m positive there’s some unused material here though.

I just labeled the untitled tracks as Alternates. Except for 2m15a which is the track where everyone is eating in the dining hall. So I’m pretty sure 3m18c is an alternate so I labeled it as -"Young Tom Riddle(Alt.)" , and track 5m30a I labeled as "Harry Overhears Snape & Malfoy" (I’m assuming this was the track because I watched the film and noticed it sounded similar). and 6m35- is when Malfoy experiments with the Vanishing Cabinet for the second time.

Uh, the Tom Riddle cue isn’t an alternate, it’s just dialed out mostly. Notice how Yates dials out whenever he can.

No. 5m30a isn’t for that scene ”Harry Overhears Snape & Malfoy”. It’s still the Malfoy’s Mission theme (6m35) that was used there.

There were many tracked music/re-used in the film like (Dumbledore’s Speech, Slughorn theme, ”Felix” and Malfoy’s Mission theme).

I’ll be posting my own improvised tracklist once I can to clear up confusion because some tracks are indeed out of order.

Because, Fireworks was originally written for ”Fred and George Weasley’s fireworks” from OotP. As I mentioned before, there were many tracked music, re-used in both films. Besides, the editors wanted to make everything connected.

Between you and me, I didn’t like Wizard’s Wheezes, and I’m glad they omitted that track. Still Fireworks is more powerful. 😉

It’s interesting how the original version of Fireworks uses an electric guitar, which of course doesn’t fit Harry Potter at all. No wonder they got rid of it in the film version.

The Weasley Stomp was meant to be the end credits music. Of Love And War was the original music for the Quidditch practice scene.

It also includes "Ron Takes The Drink" which is present on the OST but has no clean ending whereas here it does. Though it might just be tracked from "Felix Felicis Part 2".

Actually, the ending of Ron takes a drink is different still in the sessions: the end credits contains a ‘stronger’ ending while that same ending in the potions cue on the sessions is more… vague.

Probably an alternate take they used there then.

Judging where they are, 5m34 and 6m35 are meant for Harry first approaching Slughorn after Dumbledore tells him that the memory Slughorn gave him is a lie. ‘ve tentatively named them "Live In The Light" and "Slughorn Avoids Harry". 6m38 and 6m38B are meant for the battle in the girl’s bathroom, so I’d suggest "Bathroom Battle" and "Sectumsempra".

6m35, the theme is best known for Malfoy’s Mission. It was, when Harry follows Draco into the Room of Requirement and the second time, when Harry overhears Snape & Malfoy.

6M38 and 6m38B, the slates are meant to be Sectumsempra or when Snape heals Malfoy after Harry’s Sectumsempra curse. But these are unused. The real film version, is another retracked cue from The Drink Of Despair/Dumbledore Drinking.

Yeah, let’s face it, the original sectumsempra cues would NOT hve worked in that scene.

Thanks for the tracklist, bollenmanke, but when I went to tag everything the track titles don’t seem to match up with the tracks themselves (I guess that means the tracks are out of order?) The first two match up, but everything after that is all jumbled up. :/

Someone ought to make a chart that lists the filename and the track title, because there are too many alternates and I haven’t listened to it enough to be sure myself.

Oh God, don’t tell me someone ‘marked’ the leak by changing all the track names. What’s the point of that… Are you sure it’s not something on your end? Because my slate names are definitely correct.

My filenames are, "Harry Potter 6-Harry Potter and The", followed by "Harry Potter 6-Harry Potter and The 1", followed by "Harry Potter 6-Harry Potter and The 2", and so on. That’s the way I got them. No slates.

I assumed since they were numbered (kind of), they’d be in some sort of order, but I’m not so sure now, since "Harry Potter 6-Harry Potter and The 3" sounds a lot like the music where Harry uses that darkness powder on the train, which of course couldn’t only be the 4th track.

I assume you got this before the leak… was yours in the correct chronological order w/slates?

This one should be named ‘Insert – London Bridge’ as the scene in the movie with the insert is when people are walking on the bridge which then collapses after Death Eaters’ attack. Also I’m not sure it’s a source cue…

Of course, you can’t blame the films because the the timeline on the story is only mentioned in the last books and they were doing the films since the second one came. In fact it seems like they mix some modernities (The waitress from HP7 was listening to a iPod, and the Dursleys had a flat TV) but the story takes place on the same timeline (proved by James and Lily’s graves).

I would say that Harry Potter’s film universe is an alternate universe where there are WIZARDS running around in secret. I would say a bridge being build earlier then in our world or a tv/ipod isn’t a big deal haha!
