Hi all,

Long time lurker, first ever upload. 🙂 I spent HOURS getting these files tagged correctly, so I wanted to share it with everyone. This archive contains the full Civilization V Soundtrack, all 379 (!!!) songs in the game files, properly tagged with titles and artists for each track. The music files from the game itself are 128kbps .ogg files, but 89 of the files exist in a higher quality 320kbps MP3 format in the official soundtrack releases, so I substituted them where appropriate, and converted the rest of the files to 320kbps MP3 as well. I manually tagged these files using the Civilization V music credits website, and had a good bit of help with an old complete release of this soundtrack that seems to no longer be available. I hope you enjoy!

Thanks Skinnymann! I actually tried to get your upload of the Civilization V music before making my own version, but my Russian isn’t very good, and it seemed like I needed to register to download the files? Anyway, I wanted to have a version that is easily accessible to people and uploaded to MEGA, so I made a new archive. Have you ever thought about uploading your collection to something like MEGA?

You can use google translate to register there.
Maybe this can help Is anyone interested in a rutracker.org tutorial? : trackers (http://www.reddit.com/r/trackers/comments/2guivv/is_anyone_interested_in_a_rutrackerorg_tutorial/)
Once you registered there it is not hard to get what you want.
I can try mega for some collections I cannot release on rutracker because of it’s rules. Never used it, actually.

Wonderful! Kinda wish it was organized into folders but well, as long as the music is there…

Wouldn’t it be better to keep the files as 128kb Ogg rather than transcoding them to Mp3s? Converting lossy to lossy just damages the music more, and 320kb Mp3 is almost 3x the size for no gain in quality. I don’t understand people’s desire to convert everything sonic into mp3s.
