The Film Music of Akira Kurosawa (1998) [FLAC]

Superb music in stereo from most of the legendary director’s films. My favourite is the melodic Dodes’ka-den.

Copied from my CD bought in Japan last year and transferred using dBpoweramp batch converter to FLAC compression level 8 (best). I don’t have a scanner so I can’t post the CD insert poster.

Thanks for this compilation Yen! Some of the music from the Seven Samurai suite reminds me of Joe Hisaishi’s ‘The Sun Also Rises’. Joe Hisaishi might get the inspiration from it.

Hi Alex, the 5-disc set is supposedly complete but of poor sound quality and includes dialogue. My CD is a summary and has vastly superior sound.
