it is definetely not in chrono order. I read that Giacchino composed and recorded before the film was done filming, and not only did he prefer to work this way, it made way for a score not restricted to what is shown in the film. I assume that the OST is how he originally recorded and then was edited, very greatly too, into the film. Do wish the sessions appear one day, or the blu-ray doesn’t take too long, the end credits music was beautiful

Jupiter didn’t ascend at the box office. Only took in $19 million, not good when a film cost $175 million and that’s not including marketing costs. JA will have to do incredibly well overseas and I mean Avengers style business to break even. I wonder if this movie ends the relationship between the Wachowskis and Warner Bros.?
Yeah, Spongebob flooded the box office.

Although I prefer the big romantic themes from Giacchino’s "John Carter," this is quite good. And I certainly appreciate the 2-CD treatment this score has received. No double-dipping!

The score was fine, though. A little loud at times (I saw it in IMAX). Hopefully it sounds better as an album.

After MATRIX: RELOADED they were pretty much dead in the water (rule of thumb: don’ try your hand on filming/continuing a narrative you don’t understand). Every other film they did after that was just plain old BAD.
