Thanks for the info! Appreciate it. 🙂
So including the OST, that’s 27 tracks in total?
Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks for sharing this!
What did I miss?
Can someone make an expanded score from this?
Yes, please. I’d like to see someone do that. Like Skyfall
Same here. It never fully downloads. Can somebody re-up part2? Or the whole thing in one bundle?
–EDIT–
Never mind. Works fine now. 🙂
Nothing much. The thread had 1 star for a little while there.
Shame that there wasn’t more material on it…
Nevertheless – thanks!
Indeed. Would’ve been nice to have gotten some more film versions *cough*Hot Pepper*cough* but short of getting our hands on the scoring sessions, this may be the best we’ll get.
Just so you guys know, ‘Iron Man 3’ is a combination of 2 cues, you can tell because it was horribly edited.
Yeah, that weird little blip at about 1:29 had me wondering. The disc didn’t have any scratches, though, so I felt pretty safe that it wasn’t a ripping error.
Thank you very much! Was genuinely considering grabbing this one on eBay back when it was up…
😉
Yes thanks for sharing, I had a look on ebay and saw it was going for $99 Ouch
OMG. Now I feel even more evil than before! 😀
Thanks for all the thanks, everyone!

I’m working on it. Just give me time. 😉
Nice info from everyone about this release.
I just started doing a Marvel marathon (skipping Edward Norton’s Hulk interpretation).
I think it’s time I up the end credits to this.
They’ve been sitting on the side lines long enough.
I just started doing a Marvel marathon (skipping Edward Norton’s Hulk interpretation).
you shouldn’t. movie was quite fun and norton was a good banner as well.
i’ve watched it several times, believe me.
it breaks continuity as far as the actor goes, but is absolutely relevant to every Marvel movie since they all use clips from that movie.
The biggest thing that doesn’t make me watch it in a re-run marathon is that it’s not Mark Ruffalo.
Such a pitty about Edward Norton, though. I liked him as the Hulk/Banner.
Based on a quick listen over all the tracks, there’s some neat inclusions on this version. Not only are most of the tracks arranged as intended (unlike the OST that terribly chops cues out of context to fit them on a single track), but many fragments omitted from the OST are present as well. It makes me wonder, how come they presented the tracks properly on the FYC but decided to muddle and play around on the OST?
There are two things going on with this version: first, some tracks bear names similar to the ones in the OST, but the content is different (The Mechanic and Dive Bombers are a few examples). Also, there are tracks with original names that actually appear on the OST (for example, ‘Gathering Intel’ is the opening of ‘War Machine’ on the OST), which makes it incredibly difficult to recognize what is what if you’re not acquainted with the film, OST or both. In fact, only a few tracks in here are identical to the OST at all (if anything, ‘Isolation’ and ‘Can You Dig It?’ appear to be unaltered). Most of them are the complete versions of a cue, include extended portions or feature unreleased material (which is incredibly awesome, no doubt!)
Long ago, I started to decipher the OST just for the fun of it, and obviously now that this has surfaced I’ll include it in there too, but I’m happy to share my findings if anyone’s interested 😀
Hell, if my info can be of use for someone to create a complete score, that’d be awesome, I guess xD
Oh, and of course, many thanks for this awesome share Scary Kitty! This is the first ray of light towards the sessions themselves D:
You can definitely do that! I love reading break downs of OST and FYC CDs. I know others here will appreciate it as well.
100% agreed. I’d kill to have a guide on creating the most complete version of this score using the OST and FYC CDs… God speed!
Count me in as well. I’m certainly no expert in how to stitch together so many cues from various sources to recreate a complete musical soundscape, but I’ve really enjoyed the efforts of others who have done so with some of my other favorite films. I’m very much looking forward to seeing the end result! 🙂
Still hoping for an expanded release of Thor: The Dark World

– All the extra OST/FYC cues are horribly edited and contain several mixed cues.
* Misfire (OST) is a combination of two cues from the FYC, Misfire & 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!
** Heat and Iron (OST) A longer version of the FYC cue, Battle Finale.
*** Battle Finale (OST) A longer version of the FYC cue, Heat and Iron.
# War Machine (OST/Theme suite) [0:00-3:28] An alternate version of the FYC track, Gathering Intel.
## Hot Pepper (OST/Theme Suite) [0:00-0:52] The cue basically comes after Battle Finale, or as known as ”Pepper Kills Killian/ Pepper saves Tony”..etc.
### Return (OST/Theme suite) [0:00-0:50] Possibly an alternate version of the cue, ”When Pepper hears Tony’s message via the heads-up display in the helmet”.
If you guys, are interested in my custom expanded score for IM3, just let me know and I’ll start a new thread and post it. 🙂
So it can be deleted, since the other cues are already present elsewhere?

I’m interested. VERY interested. Everything is sourced from the FLAC, correct?
Sure.
Wow! Great work, thanks!
I have the expanded score, but I’d just like to have this version as well 🙂
