IT IS SO AWESOME!! An accurate movie scale model is a rare thing, and this is definitely the best I’ve ever seen. It is utterly beautiful. It would literally be the centrepiece of my desk for the rest of my life, but, retailing at $300 it probably won’t be happening any time soon… 🙁

But I’ll keep my eye on eBay… just in case…

Anybody else here know about this? What are your thoughts?

One of my favorites films, animated or otherwise. I was surprised I got one. Normally I have terrible luck with Mondo. Funny thing is the last time I had success with Mondo was when I bought Alex Ross’s painting of, you guessed it, the Iron Giant.

Indeed, one of my all-time favourites too. It’s such a uniquely fantastic animated movie. And the Giant is so lovable. They did his character so well. What I would give for one of these deluxe figures.

If I had $300 to spare then I’d buy it. Time to start saving, I guess.

When you get yours, could you possibly post a couple of photos? Particularly of the figure in the dark (a vague silhouette visible) with his eyes lit up. That would be awesome to see.

What are the differences between the deluxe and the normal, non-deluxe? I didn’t see a ‘normal’ figure on the site…

The deluxe comes with a separate hand from the farm house scene.
