Brilliant forum, and a lot of excellent soundtracks for consideration- just wondering if there is a suitable, preferable Freeware or Shareware programme that can split lossless FLAC files into individual tracks as listed . Thanx in advances

You can import the track into Audacity, highlight the portion you want as a separate track, and export that selection. Make sure to export it in a lossless format.

If there’s a cue file, use something like CUEtools (and never Medieval Cue Splitter; Russians are the only ones who use it this century).

Or Foobar2000. The .cue file needs to be loaded to view them as single tracks.

Medieval Cue Splitter is all I’ve ever used and I’m not Russian however I have dated Russian women so perhaps that’s why.

I don’t know the last time MCS has been updated or bugfixed.
The site has zero information or an adequate changelog.

But CUEtools is under some development still.
The updates have been provided by someone else, since it’s open-source.

CUEtools should be compatible with most recent update of the FLAC library.
FLAC v1.2.1 is too old now.

A couple security patches have been included in most recent FLAC library.
