I just watched this movie and it has an awful story line. But the score I think it’s just Okey.

Haven’t find digitally or physically release, let’s hope it will.

It features music composed by Marco Beltrami, who replaced A. R. Rahman and Tuomas Kantelinen. After having the release date shifted numerous times, the film is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 6, 2015.

It was originally announced that A. R. Rahman and Tuomas Kantelinen would compose the score for the movie.[11] However, in July 2013, Rahman left the project due to scheduling conflicts.[12] Subsequently, in December, 2013, Kantelinen was replaced by Marco Beltrami.[1]

A.R. Rahman and Tuomas Kantelinen have been tapped to score the fantasy action adventure The Seventh Son. The film is directed by Sergei Bodrov and stars Jeff Bridges, Ben Barnes, Julianne Moore, Alicia Vikander, Kit Harington, Antje Traue, Olivia Williams and Djimon Hounsou. The film is based on the young adult series The Spooks Apprentice by Joseph Delaney and follows a teen whos the seventh son of a seventh son, and who learns about wizardry from a forbidding spook. Matt Greenberg (1408), Charles Leavitt (Blood Diamond) and Aaron Guzikowski (Contraband) have written the screenplay. Thomas Tull (Pacific Rim), Basil Iwanyk (The Town, Clash of the Titans) and Lionel Wigram (Sherlock Holmes) are producing the Legendary Pictures and Thunder Road Pictures production. Kantelinen has previously scored the directors last two features Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan and A Yakuzas Daughter Never Cries. The Seventh Son marks the Finnish composers first big-budget major Hollywood studio film scoring assignment. Rahmans most recent Hollywood project People Like Us starring Chris Pine, Olivia Wilde and Elizabeth Banks was released this summer. The Academy Award-winning composer who is best known internationally for his scores for Danny Boyles Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours is also working on Dreamworks Animations upcoming Mumbai Musical, which is set for a release on December 19, 2015. The Seventh Son will be released on October 18, 2013 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
