An interesting album from jazz players Monk Higgins and Alex Brown. Barbara Mason sings a strong late 70’s funk feel theme, while the rest of the album is taken up with short, tight instrumentals. The album has a clean, crisp and jazz-influenced sound.

She’s a mean kind of super chick!

Thank you for the post. Very enjoyable soundtrack.
Now I have to watch the film again…
I remember not liking it as much as the Pam Grier films by Jack Hill even though I have a huge affection for the work of William Girdler, who directed this one – and who made 9 feature films in 5 years before he died in a helicopter accident at the age of 30(!!) …just a little useless trivia …if you’re into that sort of thing 🙂
