Space Ace & Dragon’s Lair

Well, there are quite a few others needed: A Troll in Central Park, Pebble and the Penguin, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Land Before Time, Rock-a-Doodle, and others. But along with those, I’ve not encountered the two you mentioned either. If I can get enough money, I’ll buy them all one at a time, I guess, but the two you mentioned were games that Bluth and Goldman’s department just played a minor part in; animating certain aspects of it. I’m more into collection the films they worked on in their entirety.

Well, I DID order the Pebble and the Penguin soundtrack, but the one I was sold was not an accurate pressing, and was returning an error in ripping, so I had to return it.. I’ll just have to wait until it drops to a good price, again. :/

Also, I don’t know that there is any source of music from those 2 movies outside of the official soundtrack releases, but good luck in your search!

Seeing how old they are and being used and not new, I think that’s a decent price, if you’re rich, of course, it’s not, it’s a bit much.

Not a huge update, but I FINALLY added my personal rip of The Land Before Time to swap out for Ponyo’s. Thanks for all your help!

I think "The Land Before Time" contains the most beautiful score of all his films.
It is very moving and it also gives me goosebumps at certain points.
But I just love ’em all! 😀

Thank you! I’ve always had an affinity for Don Bluth’s films. Shame that Rock A Doodle was his Jump-The-Shark piece. It has some interesting ideas, but… the execution is just a mess. Still has good music, though, as all of his films do. can’t wait for his Dragon’s Lair film to finally come out.

As simple as it sounds…I can’t seem to find any music from Bluth’s Dragon’s Lair and Space Ace 🙂

Well, folks, came by one of the last two a few days ago! I have the Troll in Central Park soundtrack, uploading it right now. I know the other were taken down, and probably some point in the future I’ll re-upload a batch of all of them post it. In the meantime, just going to post the TiCP and whenever I get it, I’ll add Pebble and the Penguin.

How do you open the zip files?

Well, I use 7-zip (which you should too, if you don’t! It’s open source and very good), though I may have packed them a little extra tight, if I remember. So you’ll likely need to use 7-zip and may need almost 2GB RAM to decompress. Let me know how it goes.
