For those of you who will have noticed that the track listing is pretty much the same as the official release, and doesn’t appear to contain any more material, there is a difference – all tracks on this release are clean. In other words, they are free of the additional ‘sound effects’ that were officially added onto the beginning and end of many of the tracks on the OST.

Also, for the purists out there like me, it’s worth noting that “2815 A.D.” on this release has a clean opening, unlike on the OST where it fades in from the first song.

For the same reason that the other track with that motif, "EVE" ("EVE Flies" on the sessions) wasn’t included – they were both co-composed by Peter Gabriel, and this was an FYC for just Newman’s work, and then Gabriel’s song.

I’ve tried fixing the m4a link, but it still seems to throw up some decryption key rubbish, so I will re-upload the m4a. In the meantime, to download the m4a, simply delete the b from the end of the URL and try again.

Yes, you just need to remove the b and it works.

And yes, the m4a is true Apple Lossless, not lossy AAC.

I got the complete score of this movie a long time ago but it was in MP3. It includes 2 CD’s (57 tracks).
Does the FLAC version of this complete score exists ?

Yes, we have that 57 track version here. I uploaded my own version of it a while ago, with the OST tracks integrated in in chronological order, but I’m now working on substituting the OST tracks with these FYC tracks to make it even better. I’ll re-post it as soon as I’m done.

You’re welcome. I don’t have a FLAC rip, but I could probably make one if you really need it.

I would definitely love that. I don’t pretend I can spot any difference between FLAC and 320 mp3, but this is obviously for archiving purposes : I can then encode to whatever format is better suited for a particular need (phone, audio player).
I’d be more than thankful if you would have time to spare for this.
