This thread will be updated periodically as the FYCs come flowing in.
If anyone comes across a 2014 FYC, feel free to share (or PM me). All I ask is that you post it in the same fashion as I post them, I’d like the thread as nice as last year’s.
Stay in touch 🙂

Steve Jablonsky – Transformers: Age of Extinction [MP3, 192k]
Too lazy to type up all 79 cues with slates and length.
The difference between this and the first one posted is that I removed all silences and combined tracks that were unnecessarily split.
For tracks that were too much work to combine, I simply used my La-La Land CD.
Furthermore, I renamed several tracks that were more appropriate
Credit goes to Jasonjhn8 for the amazing cover 🙂
FYC is different than the OST in that it is almost complete. Only a few cues are missing

More to come!!!
Lucy turned out to be much better than I expected. (The notion that we only use 10% of our brain is pure new age nonsense, but Besson builds a good movie based on that premise.) The ending is a little weak and abrupt but consistent with what precedes it. Johansson sells her transformation utterly. It’s going in my blu ray library.
I can’t download it though from where I am now. Hopefully someone else here does it.
That must be the complete score by the way? Over 2 hours :O
I love you.

This provides great hope for what they’ll provide us for Interstellar..
Yeah, and Transformers: Age of Extinction.. 😉
Tagging everything with slates, and uploading.
Will make a new thread.
I CAN’T WAIT FOR SCREENER SEASON THIS YEAR :D!!!!
I can’t download it though from where I am now. Hopefully someone else here does it.

See now what I don’t understand is that when you click on Noah, it only provides screenings. There is no "score" link to click on. Same goes for all of the films. I even tried changing the url when I went to Transformers. I tried http://www.paramountguilds.com/transformers-age-of-extinction/score but it doesn’t work. I guess we’ll just have to keep waiting
Yeah, and I’ve tried Interstellar too. 😉
Will just have to keep checking periodically
I uploaded it here Thread 182500 – 320 kbps

33 Tracks for 1H59
no mute tracks and include the film version of no time for caution
i’m pretty sure someone will upload it here soon enough, enjoy it all
and
A FUCKING THANKS TO PARAMOUNT!

Are you sh*ttin’ me… 33 complete tracks of Interstellar from Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures? You are my freaking hero!
Told you guys to not stop believing !
And it’s funnier because he defended Taylor Swift saying that music shouldn’t be free (and defending the use of orchesral when he’s the reason of the lack of them), and now Paramount has uploaded the full score of Interstellar for free.
Haha 😀
HOLY SHIT, i already reserved mine……a week ago.
agreed, that why i just posted the info here, btw thanks for x-men Pranos
remember THE BATMAN’S, INCEPTION, SHERLOCK HOLMES, and so many more.

ellaborate mate
Which is the track number for No time for Caution film version, can’t wait?
6m26, track 28.
Well for AoE, proper grammar. That’s most important. Then better track names, and combined cues like 3m24 which had no business whatsoever being split. Lastly, removed silences.
For the others, it’ll just be different links and they’ll be tagged differently. like this: 1m01 Dreaming of the Crash, 8m31 Quantifiable Connection
Take your time, Prime. We’ll look forward to YOUR version whenever possible.

Zimmer is full of Shit…… Wouldnt believe a word …. he basically says the same thing in every interview and his music is Garbage opppsssss sorry I meant to say Meandering soundscapes ….. 😉
Two word about your edit– FREAKING GENIUS!
Good job.
Not sure if sarcasm is what you were going for, but that’s totally the tone I’m getting when I read your post lol
And maybe that’s why Paramount is handling the FYC for Interstellar
They seem to be better than WB on certain things
Added properly tagged version of Fernando Velzquez’s Hercules

Zimmer isn’t the reason for the lack or orchestra. He does use electronics but almost always has a healthy supplement of orchestral elements. Blame directors, studio heads, and today’s audiences who see traditional scoring as corny or "old fashioned". He found a sound that worked for him, but once it was attached to a blockbuster, that’s all some directors / studio suits wanted.
I May Need to Calm Down.
Please tell me that Interstellar is’nt the same one drunkenmunkey posted (Thread 182506). TELL ME IT’S THE MOST AWSAM THING EVA!!!
I May Need to Calm Down.
Well, they’re all the same. Mine is just tagged properly.
EPIC job, buddy. Gonna download your creation effective immediately.
I downloaded the score and uploaded it here – Thread 182823 it has slates but it isn’t complete and the bitrate is low for some reason ~50-100 kbps or something like that except the song which is 320 kbps.
Also The Imitation Game by Alexandre Desplat! – The Imitation Game | TWC (http://twcguilds.com/imitation-game.html?section=music&selection=none) – FYC seems to be the same as the official score though.

I’m waiting for someone to rip them and post them as their own threads, and not in this FYC thread which is the purpose of it’s very existence -_-
each soundtrack must have its own thread. this may be in addition to being posted in megathreads/collections threads. this isn’t retroactively enforced, but will be for new posts.
this is to make searching easier, both in-forum and in search engines. additionally, it’ll help with a new forum feature i have planned that should roll out in the next few months ~
while everyone gets used to this, please kindly and politely remind anyone that forgets or isn’t yet aware of the policy.
thanks <3
Is this your copy?
Which is true, but really we all know that in general Zimmer tends to augment and overly process the orchestral elements so they sound electronic. It’s a shame when he does it because he really doesn’t need to.
But he wants to.
He’s truly the most experimental composer I’ve seen today.
He’s not only testing things in score, but just the creation and presentation of it.
Slowing down Edith Piaf, using the fan base to chant, mixing for extreme matrixing in 11.1 audio, making the music the epicenter of drama and effect for onscreen (I hear that Interstellar is designed to focus largely on the music in certain scenes where it drowns out everything else).
The man is like a kid with a short attention span with the unlimited technological access that Bruce Wayne has.
He needs things to be challenging for himself. However that may be.
Making orchestra sound electronic is something fun for him to do because he can.
It’s my sources ‘copy’, but in January it will technically be my copy. 🙂
If it’s not any trouble, could I take a gander at the front?
I asked my source to take a picture of the front cover, because I was going to request if you could recreate the front cover. I love your FYC album covers.

Are there any errors like there is with Transformers (2 silent tracks) and Interstellar (Quantifiable Connection)?
You don’t say?
You don’t say?
Well that’s just awesome. How can the Academy expect people to vote for best original score if they can’t consider 2 cues? Lol
What cue problem?
I just want to be a Bond super villain. With minions, lots and lots of minions.
Is it bad like Interstellar and TF4?
And why are these tracks corrupted?
If Paramount and Universal want their scores to be considered why are they corrupted and incomplete?
Interstellar not only has a corrupted track but No Time For Caution still isn’t the film mix (and I thought FYC’s had to be film mixes this year?) and it is missing the last two tracks
And not to mention the 2 silent tracks on TF4 and how the end battle doesn’t have Imagine Dragons (again, not the film mixes)
It has a clicking noise, and still silent.

Not again! The cue does not exist in the final stereo mixes, so we only have the original cue that Zimmer wrote.
How?
———- Post added at 11:39 AM ———- Previous post was at 11:37 AM ———-
FYCs don’t have to be complete scores, most are typically identical to their OST counterparts..it is missing the last 2 tracks, but they weren’t put on the FYC for whatever reason. It’s not a big deal, we have them.

Chutzpah to FYC the score to a movie as inept and painfully unfunny as AMWTDITW. For McFarlane to believe he is leading man material he must also believe he craps whipped cream. And the execs at Universal have heads filled with crap to allow him to star in the worst vanity project since Heavens Gate or Ishtar.

Yes, it’s the same. I uploaded my scans from the disc HERE (https://mega.co.nz/#!Rcp2xZ4L!Tj-4mixo4GK-eaJV_O4XDDz2wlX_LThQqydEUWg6g_I).

Is it any different from the retail score or the same?
Is it any different from the retail score or the same?
It’s the same. Although I remember it was just a few cues.
Oh okay. Nevermind then.
I’ve seen all 3 on eBay, Gone Girl just sold on Monday night (I think?) for over $60. Birdman – I’ve seen several listings for it, all of them are at $89.99. Who in their right mind would think they’re gonna get that much for that awful score, I have no idea. It was terrible. It sounds like an amateur junior-high garage band jam session
Or recording sessions. That would work too. 😀
EDIT: Apparently Gone Girl’s FYC is the same as the original release? What about Birdman? They both have 16 tracks, but undisclosed names on the FYC version…
EDIT #2:
It’s the same. Although I remember it was just a few cues.
The actual CD promos consisted of the entire score, 19 tracks from the OST release.
If only we had some for his from other years, namely Winter Soldier, would LOVE a complete of that.
No. There were two For Your Consideration CDs sent out for consideration.
The first (and most common release, which has caused this confusion) is the regular release of the soundtrack, but on plain discs with black text. The track names are all the same as the retail version, along with the same times. The only difference to the packaging is the back cover, which different from the retail version and has no track names. This version was sent out to every award body for consideration, except the Academy.
The second, and by far the rarest of the two (and one of the rarest FYC scores in the last few years), is the full official score as heard in the movie. It includes the correct mixing, edits, and even a few unreleased cues. This one is one CD, and has 33 tracks. It’s an official silver disc, and is even numbered as the Academy promo on the smaller inner ring. Few copies of this exist, so it’s no surprise that it isn’t widely available.
1m01 The Opening, 1m02 Crazy Happy, 1m03 Broken Table, 1m04 Blood 1m05 Amazing Amy, 2m01 Just Good, 2m02 Clue1, 2m03 A Tight Spot, 2m04 I Need To Be Punished, 2m05 Weak Spots, 3m01 The Search, 3m02 A Strange New Sentence, 3m03 Husband Undone, 3m04 Bum World, 3m05 Empty House, 3m06 Vigil, 4m01 WTF, 4m02 The Reveal, 4m03 The Hammer, 5m01 You Asshole, 5m02 Much Worse, 5m03 Strange Activity, 5m04 Mr Collins, 5m05 Just Teasing, 6m01 Derailed, 6m02 Dark Desi, 7m01 How To Behave, 7m02 Surveillance, 7m03 Preparation, 7m04 Murder, 7m05 The Return, 7m06 FBI, 7m07 Miracle on the Mississippi, 8m01 What’s Next, 8m02 Do Your Part, 8m03 Credits – Echoes, 8m04 Slight Limp, S3 Garson.

The one I have is the full score, as evidenced by watching and rewatching it with the cues played.
Whomever gave you that information must have deliberately split up the tracks, as the ones on the CD I have are combined with other tracks.
