Thanks drhousetapachula.
Now all I need to make this holiday better is: Man of Steel, The Lone Ranger, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Half-Blood Prince, and Order of Phoenix 😀

And by the way, they removed the slates from the titles, but moved them to the comments…so you have to check individually each track to find out the slate..I can upload a tagged version if anyone wants to hold off downloading.
Huge thanks for this share man!
Just to pile on to the collective wish list, hopefully more Tyler materials will surface too (specially Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 of course)

Yep I now realized that.
I found the slates in the comments, too. Paramount trying to be sneaky……lol

I tagged all the files with slates, and numbered the tracks. Enjoy. Will do the same for Hercules.

Don’t forget that Beltrami wrote a rejected score for the animated TMNT in 2007.

Christ you have awful taste in Music…. please tell me you listen to other stuff 😉
Not to be rude, but could you please stop commenting on everything people write? Musical taste is a personal thing so just stop thinking yours is superior to others!
love it

non-mega mirror?
As far as fast food film scores go, I guess Tyler is sorta the Wendy’s to Remote Control’s Mickey D’s.
There’s a lot about the film I don’t like but still would watch it.
If it weren’t for technological advancements in sound, I’d not have liked this movie at all.
How’s so? If anything, he writes the same kind of music that the guy from your avi. Someone who makes bombastic orchestral scores without resigning to themes and orchestra itself.
NOW OFF I GO TO LISTEN TO THE FULL THING!
Thanks again!
He phoned in The Expenables 3 (regardless of personal opinions on the film itself; rated or unrated) and most of it was just rehashed from the first 2 films.
He has TV work to do, too.
If he’s under assault on quality, it’s probably because the guy has no time to work.
Someone needs to clean the wax outa their ears, cuz bombast doesn’t mean what you think it means, particularly in your reference to Goldsmith. Tyler, on the other hand….
:this: Goldsmith was never nearly as percussive as Tyler.
He may have some samples. But his entire career is not known for booming percussion like Tyler.

Don’t forget he’s working in YOUR film, you crazy Ultron 😀
It has me both excited and worried.
I just hope by then, he has some ample room to work.
This would totally suck if it turned into a Wolfman_(2010)/Danny_Elfman fiasco… :/

Just sayin’.

Furious 7 (post-production)

You gotta be kidding right…. Brian Tyler has a musical Voice. The guy is a true talent….unfortunately hes caught up in Hollywood where they are too busy sucking off Hans Zimmer.Go and listen to his scores for smaller films… they are fantastic…. theres not one CLONE in Remote Control who has a musical voice and if you believe otherwise can you point me in the direction please because everything I hear from Remote Control sounds the bloody same……

Ill let you in on a secret… those tv score are not all Brian Tyler… he has uncredited Ghost writers doing those shows 😉
He may have some samples. But his entire career is not known for booming percussion like Tyler.
You do know that Tyler has based his whole percussion style on Jerry Goldsmith….. especially on how he uses the snare drums in scores

You aren’t comparing any of those journeyman efforts to critically acclaimed, genre defining scores such as Capricorn One, Alien or Star Trek (let alone any of the others), are you? Cuz nothing in that list will be remembered down the road as a bona fide "classic", esteemed in music circles for their compositional mastery, or praised in film circles for their seminal influence in cinema.
…you cant compare 2014 to 1978…. sorry dude it was a different time… I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times….
What’s "a different time" got to do with latent talent? Either ya got it and can show it, or you don’t and you can’t. I’ve never heard a Tyler score I needed or felt compelled to listen to a second time. The dude just doesn’t have anything to say of lasting interest musically or dramatically.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Goldsmith; just once, a few years before his death.
All a matter of opinion.
As mentioned before, this is a different generation than yours.
Times are different, so is music.
And beige is a primary colour.

Music hasn’t changed. Everyone composing music today follows the same rules and employs more or less the same tools as everyone else did 100 years ago. The only thing that’s changed, the only thing that ever changes, is popular taste. And popular taste has never be regarded as an arbiter of anything except its own use by date.
I’ve never been that much of a Brian Tyler fan, but I think he did a decent job with this film. Nice to hear the complete score, especially since it was easily the best part about the movie (the film itself was awful).

Thanks. The film score that Brian Tyler had composed was one of the best in the TMNT franchise. But for this Nick film… bad casting, bad producer, mediocre director… at least he isn’t Bay or Ratner.
Brett Ratner was in talks to direct the film.

that would be interesting and scary at the same time
thanks in advance.
cheers
It is about the end of the movie when Shredder gets a sample with the finger mutagen, I leave a Rip the movie, if someone could remove the sounds and let the music it would greatly appreciate it!!!

Thanks! I lost this version of the score a year ago and was missing it. It has a lot of good cues missing from the official release.
