Ok. I’ve got things taken care of, now!! BUT….that’s beside the point. 😛 LOL
I’ve watched the WHOLE concert just now and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, it’s freakin Awe-Some!!!!!! XD
I have to give it a solid 8/10. Please don’t bite my head when I say this guys and gals, but, vocals don’t appeal to me and there are a few weak songs in here. Or maybe not weak but…just not to my liking, that’s all!! LMFAO!!! 😛 Thank God vocals didn’t dominate the Whole Concert!! *HUGE Sign*
First of all, the recording quality…is great!! Could hear all the instruments clearly, no muddyness at all!! But, I really wish they could have included a CD Version, as well. THAT…would have been nice, but, it didn’t make the cut apparently… ;( Songs that I didn’t like are "Diva" and "Sector 7" everything else sounded fantastic!! And here, I was expecting a shitty performance from Mr. Ishiwatari and crew…Glad I was wrong about that!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀 If I recall correctly, I didn’t hear one bad note coming from the lead guitarist……AT ALL!!!!!! xD xD 😀 Or…as a matter of fact, I really think EVERYONE pulled off an EXCELLENT performance!!!!!! xD Hopefully, what I’ve said in this post excites you guys and gals, now…to upload it in HQ!!!

Thank you so much for doing this! I’m afraid I’m not experienced in ripping DVD’s however. I’d be extremely grateful for when you do manage to figure out how to rip the audio if you could also extract it in a lossless quality format as well, FLAC preferably. Yet again major thanks!

You’re doing god’s work, fella. I would LOVE you if you could upload the whole ISO of the DVD so we can figure out ways of ripping it without quality loss.

Didn’t want to download this, but I can’t buy the DVD ’til next year :(.

I didn’t think the vocal tracks would be very good. They were pretty bad in previous ArcSys concerts as well. Tsuyoshi Koyama (Bang’s VA) is especially bad at singing live. His voice tends to sound all warbly, for lack of a better word. He’s much better in his prerecorded tracks.
What didn’t you like about Diva, though? It’s one of my favourites in the GG2 OST, so I thought it would have been pretty good.

There’s a program called DVD audio extractor, I guess that rips on 320 KB with very good quality, check google, and if I’m not mistaken it rips chapter separated, so shouldnt be a trouble for you.

I live in Brazil, so is quite impossible to get a original version of this DVD, is far so expansive, like on dollar currency an equivalent to 500 $ =( So I’m counting on you here!

But don’t upload the VOB archives!, convert them to MP3, is very easy to do and you will have to upload less MB. For example the intro track goes from 90MB in VOB to 4MB in MP3.

Why did you convert the concert in some file like .avi, or mkv? Is quite easy too, as rip the MP3 from the show, and leaves less space so you can upload on the internet.

An off topic question guys..is the official release date of the GGXrd OST by the 16th of December? been searching info about it over the net but all I’m seeing is info about the bonus cd (Vocal Collection) that comes along with the PS3/PS4 GGXrd bundle.

The DVD arrived today. I got an email from EMS that it arrived but when I went to get it, the post office hasnt processed it yet so I couldnt pick it up. The post office staff were too busy with people sending money and gifts for Xmas and havent had a chance to process the stack of packages that came in throughout the day. I got told to come back tomorrow or around closing time and hopefully it dies down enough for them to process the packages they got today.

The DVD arrived today. I got an email from EMS that it arrived but when I went to get it, the post office hasnt processed it yet so I couldnt pick it up. Trying to figure out how the best was to rip this. The dvd is structured as one large video file and the chapter are just jump marks on it. My dvd ripping programs are just ripping it as 1 large file so I may have to manually cut up the audio file unless someone has any recommendations.

Dude, seriously, don’t worry about ripping the whole thing, just upload the ISO and we’ll make the best out of it for ourselves. You don’t need any extra work, this is already god’s work you’re doing.

All the mp3s are encoded, I just need to trim the end of the last track because there is 30 seconds of dead air on it. i am also keeping the DVD introduction and meet the band as part of the track list (since they do play some rifts when they get introduced).

As for videos/ISOs, I probably wont upload those anytime soon since my Up speed on my ISP is crap and it would take forever to upload them. If I can find a convenient solution then maybe yeah.
