How can I convert a gbs file to wav? I’ve been converting VGM files to WAV using winamp lately, but gbs files are all named the same.. and they’re all 5:06 in length, even though some songs finish much earlier. Can someone suggest a good converter?
What if I don’t want to use foobar? Is there any other way? I already have 4 music players..
Note that I can convert these to wav using winamp already. It’s just the naming that I’m having trouble with.. >.<
What kind of trouble are you having with the naming?
I’m getting files named like the following:
Pokemon Gold (1/93)
Pokemon Gold (2/93)
Pokemon Gold (3/93)
And so on..
Also, every single track is 5:05! Even the tracks that don’t loop. Meaning if they finish at 1:00, there’s 4 mins of silence..
No m3u tag.. I got the gbs file from Zophar’s Domain. Not sure where to find an m3u file.
Here’s the gbs with m3u for Pokemon Gold to get you started. (http://snesmusic.org/pmh/view.php?id=1740)

Hey, thanks so much! The Pokemon Gold soundtrack you sent me worked perfectly, and I’ll be sure to use the site you linked as well to download soundtracks for other Gameboy games! 😀
A bit of an off-topic, random request, but is there a lossless soundtrack like this for the Pokemon Ranger games?

You can use this post on the HCS forum (http://hcs64.com/mboard/forum.php?showthread=26929) to find all kinds of game console ripped music. Click the link Nintendo DS Music Archive under Portables and go into the zzz_old folder followed by the "P" folder and look for Pokemon Ranger.
Or, you could click this (http://2sf.joshw.info/zzz_old/p/) link to go straight to the "P" page if you’re lazy 😛
You will need a player that can handle 2sf files to play these files though. You can use this (http://www.zophar.net/utilities/2sf/vio2sf.html) plugin to play them in Winamp.

Awesome, thanks so much! How did you find that site?
Just having some issues with the names not being… proper.. For example: 000b SE_CAP_LEVELUP
Are these tagged with the actual names?
Also, I was hoping to find a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers Of Time/Sky rip on that site, but I don’t seem to be able to find one.. Maybe its never been ripped? I hope I’m wrong and there is one in a different directory..

Unfortunately, not all of the 2sf files on that site are tagged (at the moment). Honestly, I can imagine that properly tagging all of those rips would be very time-consuming and tedious.
As for the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Sky rip, the developers of that game didn’t use the traditional 2sf SSEQ format to compose the music in, so there is no "gamerip" for that. That being said, you can download recordings from the jukebox in the game in FLAC or MP3 VBR v0 format from here (http://www.hcs64.com/mboard/forum.php?showthread=38229).
