Didn’t bother to make a .cue for this. Straight from iTunes, I didn’t modify any tags yet, so you purists can get it while it’s still fresh.
Nice to see music from this game still seeing periodic releases. I never had my own account, just sorta sponged off friends who had the game, so I can’t say I have too many memories associated with this title. I was more of a PSO guy than anything else. Anyhow, enjoy the music guys.
Edit:
After having been brought to my attention that there was a lossless release via the Japanese digital distributor I set out to find a copy. Didn’t take too long =D
Guess that means I was a bit misleading when I labeled this as a iTunes exclusive. I’ll try and get the title changed.

I’m a little confused here. What did you do to the files here? Was it just a m4a to mp3 transcode? Isn’t that lossy to lossy?
The same thing he always does. Takes someone’s link, downloads it, converts to shit, uploads to an even shitter website that nobody likes so he can make a few pennies to rub on his nipples every couple months. And on and on the disgusting cycle goes.
That does sound a bit harsh but…
That 320mp3 version makes no sense at all. It’s more than double the filesize of the original format. Even if you’re going for strictly mp3 formats, which I only imagine one would do if one was trying to avoid running into storage problems, you could go for a more reasonable encode setting than that.
I think I saw sonixgvn put up a -V0 transcode if I’m not mistaken, so anyone looking for mp3s of the albums should just look over on his site.
Can not compare the quality of V0 to m4a (itunes) btw, but at least he never did lossy to lossy 😉

I wasn’t aware that there was a lossless version of this album, good to know.
Also I generally like your site and the albums you choose to host, though if I can be frank the file hosts are so-so.
edit: i see it’s a chinese site… doh… can’t understand that. 🙁

Sorry I might have come off as a bit condescending earlier, I genuinely had no clue this was released in a lossless format. You’re 320mp3 is totally justified now that I see the bigger picture. My bad.
Thank you. Do you have other ff soundtracks from iTunes ?
I can’t say that I do. I’m not SUPER into FF music, and there’s a HUGE catalog of it at this point, but I don’t think iTunes has much in the way of exclusives.
I don’t know exactly what you were looking for, but you could always poke around the lossless game music thread here on the shrine.
I think I remember reading that we’re not supposed to post torrent links here, but I may tell you that bakabt has a periodically updated Final Fantasy mega collection. In lossless it’s 100+GBs, but you could always just grab what you had in mind and leave the rest.
Hope that helps.
As far as I know, you’re the first one uploaded lossless format in public, so his transcode is definitely from itunes (maybe from your upload). Anh I guess that because he has many similar posts in other threads.
Just say that because I think you don’t need to sorry.
