You’re just very beautiful. 🙂
Only one more blockbuster hollywood to go this year (The Hobbit 3)
Edit: it is actually quite good. Esp. the non-Iglesias tracks. They are full of choir and action. Great. Can’t wait for an upgrade on 02/12

I’m still surprised they elected to go with this title. "Gods" seem like it might offend the churchy crowd who are the most obvious audience for this.
HGW himself mentioned on FB that he did tracks 3, 12 and 20… (not nr. 30)….
It also sounds like signature HGW style 🙂
Well I think in this case "when you see the few trailers you have seen the movie" 🙂

wow that cover is bad, like really bad! very bland.
I’ve been waiting the score for ages…
Edit: Two tracks in and I LOVE it. Already in my top 10 scores this year.
Best regards!!!

SURF’S UP, DUDES!
GNARLY!
Personally, I’m not sure why they didn’t just call it "The Ten Commandments". It worked OK last time…
Oh, and thanks, Goback
About the music: couldn’t really care even less about this score until today: Iglesias was not such a great composer in my eyes, and music for Ridley Scott’s movies is always hit-or-miss. And boy, what a hit it is! The score is simply fantastic, it has everything: very good motif, truly Biblical proportions of choral parts and some really decent ethnic vibes. Easily on my Top-10 this year’s best scores!

Thanks for the listen.
Thanks for the listen.
Thank goodness I wasn’t just hearing things. Very bizarre Vorspiel inclusion!

Yeah, this is ridiculous. My original upload is in 128kbps-mp3 and its size 72Mb, he obviously never checked the tracks format. Copy & Paste!!
well you know Tapoktro he steals shit and never credits anyone.
Again, thank you. (seems tiresome that Ridley Scott wasted his time on something that has already been filmed and considered a classic)
My understanding is that Exodus would be ineligible because the governing rule stipulates that a score cannot be "…assembled from the music of more than one composer". And for my listening pleasure I skip the generic RC tracks from Gregson-Williams and the vulgar, ill-fitting Jusid tracks.
Because they’re obnoxious, and stick out like a sore thumb — sounding nothing at all like Iglesias — and because the pleasure I derive from the articulateness of Iglesias’s writing is undermined when its interrupted by some god awful video game music.

Ahh, thats what I figured. Shame. Scott’s epic-y films seem to use multiple composers. Kingdom Of Heaven was HGW, with help from Mr. Goldsmith and Mr. Revell. Prometheus was Streitenfeld with help from HGW. And now this score.
It seemed like Ridley Scott didn’t trust Iglesias to write ‘epic action music’. I read in an interview he want ‘power anthems’ for the action scenes but not in ‘traditional obvious way’ (whatever that means :). )
Source of the album can be found? The spectra of some of the tracks are not very similar to the 320.

Thanks everyone
