I thought it would be a good idea to create a thread based on your personal autograph collection.
You can also show other autographs of music or film memorabilia or even show your pictures

I met him a few times. All them were signed in one sitting though at the man of steel premiere in London. I found where he lived in soho and he signed for me. Great guy and had a good 20 min convo, just me and him. Was a great moment. Also met him at interstellar live and he signed these for me

I was pretty lucky to have been able to travel to London and get signatures off him. I wasn’t expecting him to sign the lot though haha

There are two on eBay. And they are genuine. I am a bt of a autogrpah dealer on the side and can confirm they are 100% genuine. There is a titanic sheet music signed by horner for �200 with best offer. The cd is on like �600 but no one will pay that imo. It will drop very slowly.

I’m impressed by your story, marcorea1, that must of been amazing! I dream of meeting a few people I like in a future.. maybe I have that luck, too. But I’m glad to hear. So you just managed to know where he lives, you knocked in, told him you were a fan.. and he let you in and talked? Tell us a bit more! I’m interested and curious.

I wouldn’t have dreamt of knocking even if I could have. It’s an apartment. It’s in a part of London where he has a recording studio. Great great personal moment. Talked about his music and he commented on some of my expanded scores from lalaland, let’s just say he wasn’t best pleased lol. Also mentioned about is with complete scores saying he didn’t know why people aren’t happy with cd releases. I didn’t know what to say except that Us fans love his music in a more extended form hahaha

Greg Edmonson, Kevin Riepl, Inon Zur, Jack Wall, and Jason Graves. Was there mostly for the last three. Jason graves and Jack Wall are idols to me.

I did not even know he would be there! I saw so happy when I saw him. The Crysis soundtrack was just so phenomenal. He is a pretty nice guy, very reserved from what I could tell; doesn’t talk too much.

But.. I mean, how did you get to have him talk to you? Like.. you just came up randomly and he didn’t mind at all having a talk with you while signing all the CDs you offered? Indeed was personal when you mentioned him about things that either composers don’t normally like or think it’s pirating, hahah. I wonder why he thinks like that, though! I know some other composers would like their whole work released.

I was waiting for him for hours and finally saw him walking up the side street with his umbrella and I casually walked up with nerves like shit and kindly asked if he would sign some of my CDs. Said he’s signing them all as i had all his life’s work.
He was all for it. It was the second time I met him then. The first was when he was promoting kung fu panda 2 in Northampton. Played some of his work with a live orchestra. Met John Powell there too and Harry Gregson.
He’s not good with crowds though which I can understand. I think cause he knew I was a genuine fan he didn’t mind signing the lot for me.
he said he doesn’t see the point in having complete scores when everything you hear on his released score is pretty much made for an album listen.

An Nvidia Shield shirt — XXL. I am a Medium… So the shirt was put to use in another way!

I can scavenge through my thousands of physical releases to find out what I actually have signed. Most of them are probably La-La Land releases haha. Do you want me to look for them?

He’s one of my idols, I love all of his music, he’s made some great compositions, How To Train Your Dragon 2 being the pinacle of it. I wish to meet him one day and talk to him personally.

he’s truly come up on top. great composer. when i met him, i didn’t get great vibes off him. he was very laid back and just signed and that was it.

The most autographs I have from one composer is from Bruce Broughton, I’ve always loved his music and varied styles.
I do have 10-12 other signed scores but these mean the most to me.

Do they look real to you?

I’ve seen his signature enough times and I am almost cetain Pearl Harbor is legit. The other 2 look wonky to me. Notice how both version of Gladiator have what looks like an "M" in between the H and the Z? Well neither one of them look like the other. But the Pearl Harbor one looks like other legit ones I’ve seen – specifically like marcorea1’s.

Anyway, here’s my atuographed music memorabelia:

Sorry for late reply. Not been around here for a while.
I hate to say but these don’t look genuine. I may be wrong, but the line underneath is too long. The squiggle on ‘Zimmer’ don’t look right either. He almost got lucky with pearl harbor but it is angled too forward. Even Hans rushed ones don’t look like that mate.
How much did you pay? And is this the seller because the autograph looks very similar and this hasn’t sold for months, maybe over a year.
