Happy Halloween, everyone!!! This was sitting at my door when I got home from work this afternoon, so I tore it open and immediately started ripping it. I had plans to rip another vinyl for tonight, but I know there’s high demand for this one and I wanted to post it ASAP so here it is! I only just watched the movie for the first time on Saturday, so I don’t know the score too well. On that note, I’m pretty sure I split all tracks at the correct spot.
I’ve recently been told my vinyl rips aren’t in true lossless, but I know what I’m doing. Apparently not all vinyls are pressed in lossless, so maybe that’s a contributing factor. I don’t know, I don’t care. I just hope everyone enjoys this.
Side D isn’t score, but it is from the film. You guys figure out what it is 😉

The Departed OST (Various Artists album), first track, Comfortably Numb – Rogers Waters feat. Van Morrison & The Band is a heavily lossy sourced track.
Extremely low active response rate, but the song is a live track.
But, I’ve never ripped a vinyl before so I don’t know how what settings the vinyl player has and what software was used and what settings it has and what can be changed.
But the PC can record at any Hz you want while the record player might have its own settings.
Or maybe some filter is turned on in the software used on the PC-side.
It would take a lot of troubleshooting steps to pin point these "lossy" claims.

I honestly have no idea what setting my turntable is at. I don’t think you can play around with it, either. It’s got a USB that I plug directly into my Mac, and then I rip it via Audacity. And you can only rip in FLAC, no other format. I do the same thing every single time, nothing ever changes. While some of my rips are apparently not in true lossless, you can be sure others are. So maybe it really does come down to how the LP is pressed
