Most of you know I am against posting LLL releases. In fact, I have never posted one before. I may have even stated somewhere that I’d never post one. However, due to the strong sales of the physical release (autographed copies sold out in 4 minutes), and the fact that there’s high demand for a lossless version of the score, here it be. I received my copy today (along with the Amazon Collector’s Edition Blu-ray, a very good day :D), hope everyone else who ordered gets theirs soon. If there’s any autographed copies, I’d love to see some pics 😉

There most likely aren’t many copies of this left, if you feel like you may want a copy I urge you to do so. Look what happened back in 2007 with the TF1 score, it went out of print.
Enjoy, all

Wish I could’ve snagged a copy though 🙁
You still can, I advise you to do so. Or are you talking about an autographed copy? If so, are you really only going to let a signature get in the way of obtaining this?
Gotta check if I can buy one anyway, and see if it can be send to Mexico, and how much would that cost.
Or if I’m lucky enough, find it in a local store (lol)
EDIT: What Lockdown said lol (beat me to it)
Thank you for not quoting my entire post, which you have become notorious for
Oh hell were all notorious for one thing or another.
You’re welcome, but – did you not cause a big stink over how much you disliked this score back in June? Change of tune, perhaps?
Hope you don’t wait too long… you could miss some things!
I have seen pics of the autographed edition on another site, but nos cans.
I’m angry because I was off by 7 orders (89083 was the last order to get it. Mine was 89090) and 7 seconds (12:03:11 was the last order time. Mine was 12:03:18). Nothing sucks worse than being THAT close to getting one.
I’ll see if I can grab the photos from the other site and put them up. Not a scan, but closest thing perhaps.
No. I meant to take pics of the booklet and upload them, as I don’t have a scanner. But I do have an iPhone 6, so they’ll be decent pictures.
I forgot to ask something. Does few tracks from EP are not included in score, right?
Unfortunately you are correct. The EP tracks are not included, which really pissed me off because I was going to make a badass Lockdown suite in lossless. Since the majority of his theme is in the EP track Lockdown, I can’t make it like I wanted to.
It’s most likely a one-time thing
Makes me sad! 🙁
There is no better version than 320kbps?
There is no better version than 320kbps?
There are some who would argue the 256 m4a iTunes is better, but it makes no difference to me – it’s not lossless

For those who don’t know, LLL gives you another booklet that’s signed and thrown in the box (but it’s identical to booklet, just signed), so the CD you get from them is the same as what everyone else got. So you could open the CD without "destroying" the collectability of it. Just keep the separate booklet safe.
One is FLAC, one is Apple lossless which is their equivalent of FLAC
If anyone looks for Battle Cry by Imagine Dragons in FLAC, here: Thread 176459 (link re-up at message #24).
About "Look what happened back in 2007 with the TF1 score, it went out of print.", you mean the score of 20 tracks or the complete recording sessions of 80 tracks?
Sessions are NEVER commercially released on disc, EVER. The commercial score, 20 tracks. I just happened to order a copy in advance at my F.Y.E., not knowing it would go out of print. This was back before I had any knowledge of the film music industry
The difference is that the ALAC version was posted a full day earlier than the FLAC version. That and DAKoftheOTA rearranged two tracks into chronological order.

How is that even a question? The score went out of print, because it was the score and not the sessions that was available for purchase.
Yes, but as in this case all recording sessions of Transformers have come in lossless I thought maybe some of them had gone out officially.
And I also added the proper credits to the tracks

It’s alright, I understood what you meant. The sessions will never go out of print, because cause they are digital. Only can something physical go out of print/stock. Like when BK runs out of chicken fries, or stops selling them 🙁
Ok, my fault. Which variant offers the best sound quality? Thanks.
They’re the same. They’re both lossless formats so the output is the same as the input. The only differences might come down to the ripper used.
Thank you.
And those autographed thingies look so cool. 🙂
Lossless is out of the question, it’s a digital release only – which means it’s iTunes, which means it’s 256k. This is why I dropped my plans to make my own Lockdown Suite. The bulk of the material is on the EP. However, I have hope that I will be able to make one after all – should someone share the FYC with me in lossless
I actually haven’t thought about that. I completely forgot about the EP and didn’t notice it wasn’t on the album.
What a bummer. The EP was quiet enjoyable.
What a bummer. The EP was quiet enjoyable.
ALL of those tracks – Lockdown, Tessa, Decision and Hunted are exclusive to the EP. They’re all suites, but it’d still be nice to have them in lossless
Did not think that far.
Or FX-less lossless from the TrueHD audio track on the blu-ray.
I miss METROTOKYO.:cryingbatman:
The current FYC is from the awards consideration site right? BTW nwbie question, why the hate for LLL?
Considering those were suites, it might be harder to get a clean edit out of the bluray.
The movie is riddled with dubstep sound design.
Since it’s the Dolby Atmos helmer, it’s likely there will be complex dynamics in each discreet channel, even for just the standard TrueHD extension.
You’d need to several people to work on this once the 8ch audio has been converted to something workable.
Fancy Sony Spectrum, fancy (VST) filters in Sony Soundforge. some trial-and-error, a little energon and a looot of luck.
But still, DAK, YOU’RE AWESOME.
Ya no. Tried that already by loading a Blu-ray rip into Audition. All 8 channels had SFX. Been there, done that. I also did it with TASM2 to get the film mix of The Rest of My Life with the vocals, but there were leaves rustling in the wind SFX.
why the hate for LLL?
What do you mean? La-La Land Records is a great label.
😉
There is a FLAC version on another thread.
I know because I had linked to this one because this one had the autograph images. (see page 3).
Just a heads up on TRANSFORMERS AGE OF EXTINCTION:
400 units remain (OUT OF 3000)!
I know 400 units may sound like a lot to some of you (2.600 UNITS ARE ALREADY GONE), but this title has been selling like hotcakes since it’s release last FALL. So, if you want one I would buy it now. Once it’s gone it’s gone for good!
Because I put this in chronological order
