"Smiley" Button Sucks

What is that thing even good for? Everything in the list is a humongous annoying gif or image, and the window takes up more than the width of my screen without any ability to scroll horizontally. The only way to get rid of it is by refreshing the page. Please clean out the crappy gifs in there and use smileys like a normal site!

No one else has felt the need to complain about them and make a post about it. If you don’t like them, well… that’s too bad. They’ve been here for years, a lot longer than you have been a member here and they’ll probably stay here longer than you.

This needs to be me a real smiley.

It’s usage can be infinite.

It’s been added, but at a smaller dimension to reduce the files size to get it to upload to the smilies page. If you can get it down to the 1mb mark without reducing the dimension let me know.

i have the same problem. tried 5 browsers (safari & firefox on mac; safari, firefox & explorer on windows) and not one was able to show the smilies properly. just huuuuge blank window, which sometimes shows some gifs.

maybe the admins can separate gifs and smilies, so that this problem goes away?

@ostgems : I use Firefox and have no problems with seeing the smilies at all… same with Internet Explorer…

I have the same "problem", but not really because whenever I need a smiley, either I know the code or I go take a look there: Smilies – Final Fantasy Shrine Forums (http://forums.ffshrine.org/misc.php?do=showsmilies)

I think :naughty: is broken.
