This gamerip of Mario Kart 8 contains every song and variation possible besides the ones in Music Park when you drive over an instrument and laps 2-6 of GCN Baby Park. There’s a whopping grand total of 288 tracks in here.

How do you rip .bfstm files ?

I don’t rip the games, crediar on HCS does. I only convert and tag the music.

The DLC pack is awesome and it needs one more song: Starting line countdown… Mute City version (GP and VS)

It’s because the BFSTMs are the only ones available. Any jingles are in a different archive that I’ve recently asked crediar if he could get those as well.

In Mario Kart 7, I’m pretty sure they were sequenced so we couldn’t get them but in Mario Kart 8, they’re apart of the streamed audio files as separate channels that fade in and out depending on your position to 2nd place in-game. Hyrule Warriors uses something similar for all of it’s variations too. All I had to do was to render each variation out manually in Audacity.

Huh? I have no problem getting them on my iPhone 6, probably something on your end.

I especially appreciate how you formatted it to automatically be added to the original soundtrack as 2 new disks in itunes. I hope that if they make more dlc packs (which I doubt they won’t) you will continue to do these excellent rips of them.

This is my first actual "thank you" post in several years on this site. So thank you very, very much for providing this perfect rip, The12thGripper. The MK8 soundtrack is outstanding, possibly Nintendo’s best musical work outside of the Zelda series, so it’s wonderful we get to listen to it in its entirety like this.

Hello, everyone; it’s been a while!

The Mario Kart 8 OST was released a couple weeks ago (I think??) and it actually came with artist tags! Last night, I went back and filled out the artist tags for every song possible and added the new mixes of songs found on the CD to the gamerip. (Note: The current files are from !!!!!’s rip of the OST. @!!!!!: I’ll totally remove them if you want me to; just PM me) It’s currently uploading now to MEGA and I will be uploading it to other sites shortly after.

More importantly, I want to talk about future plans for this gamerip. I’ve had a message in the OP talking about reripping select songs for a long time now and I’m finally going to that…after I make a Mario Kart 7 gamerip in the style of this one. TheUltimateKoopa custom made (???) frontrunning variations of the songs in Mario Kart 7 so I really want to make a gamerip for that game like this. I meant to start this last week (Sorry, TheUltimateKoopa!) so I can’t give you an ETA but I’m going to start it today, I promise.

Now onto the planned changes for the next version of my Mario Kart 8 gamerip. Like I said, I plan on reripping select songs that have volume issues like the Online Menu themes and some frontrunning variations like Excitebike Arena, Ice Ice Outpost and Wild Woods. I also plan on retagging some songs and arranging the placement of variations, the way I currently have variations organized is inconsistent and is very much a mess. (see Electrodrome, Dolphin Shoals and Mount Wario) Along with those changes, I also plan on adding a couple extra variations of songs not found in Mario Kart 8 (namely the Smash Wii U mix of Cloudtop Cruise and a special mix of Cloudtop Cruise) but I’m debating whether or not I’m going to include them or not due to their nature.

TL;DR: New version my Mario Kart 8 with new artist tags and variations uploading now, Mario Kart 7 gamerip in the style of this is happening and expect another version of my Mario Kart 8 gamerip in the near future.
