Well, here it is. A soundtrack that hasn’t been properly uploaded and shared in YEARS. Yet here I am, bringing it to you guys. After scouring the web for days, I managed to come across this little gem hidden away on an obscure website with text in a language I couldn’t even read. After a few risky clicks, I was surprised to find what I think is the most complete Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Soundtrack I’ve ever come across. Excellent bit rate which in turn grants superb sound quality, fully tagged tracks including composers and each tracks respective title, making up a 71 tracklist. I also put together custom album art so you don’t have to search for one. 🙂 If you’ve been looking for a decent upload of this soundtrack? I’m sure you’ll appreciate this one. Enjoy!

Edit: I’d like to give FULL credit, and my thanks to user slippyToad (http://forums.ffshrine.org/members/slippytoad-73324)for the fantastic rip. You can check out his original post here (Thread 78848).

How are there 71 tracks? o_o
I ripped this game myself but never shared it, and there are only 37 tracks even taking into account the Final Lap and Goal variations. Unless I’m missing something, I don’t see how there can be that many.

I see 😮 well, the soundtrack includes the multiple variations for each race track. In order of 1. the normal tune that plays when going around a track. 2. the distorted tune that plays when struck by lightening. 3 the sped up tune when on the final lap. 4. a combination of #’s 2 & 3. And as far as I know, EVERY other song heard in-game.

Oh ok, I had never thought of the lightning variations, since most of the MK games dont include them 😛

Since this is getting semi-popular, I figure I’d mention that this is SlippyToad’s rip (Thread 78848).

Nice, glad someone knew the source. I’d very much like to give credit where credit is due, but would that be enough? Or would removing the post be more appropriate?
