But I’m curious: is there any way to split these files up? I don’t often see FLAC rips come in one giant file (although I know they occasionally do, and the cue sheet will allow CD burners to burn them correctly). I use Winamp to listen to these things, and there’s no way to go from track-to-track.
Incidentally, so far I’d say the Japanese version is a lot better than my domestic version, mastering wise. The American master sounds more muddled.

There is Medieval CUE Splitter (Some audiophiles say it is bad because sometimes it doesn’t cut accurately, but that’s the one I use) and CUE Tools. Both let you divide the FLAC or WAV or whatever file using the CUE sheet and preserving the quality of the original file, so nothing happens to it.

Apparently there is an official remaster. I would like to compare it to the japanese release. If you’re willing to upload and share it’ll be appreciated!

Thanks a ton for the Japanese upload.
No, I would assume it’s as usual edited.
