Well, I’m waiting too, like always, but I am a bit disappointed with quality of this soundtrack. Hoenn deserves better, more creative rearrangements (truly rearrangements, not only simple remasters like a lot of tracks on this album). Fortunately it’s not my lovely, jazzy Sinnoh’s score.
Still no Go Ichinose and now also Hitomi Sato, my two favourites Pok�mon composers. It’s very sad for me. Pok�mon music without talent of Go Ichinose isn’t the same. It’s very ridiculous because one interwiev confirmed that they are part of ORAS sound team! (http://pokejungle.net/2014/09/02/free-newspaper-pokemon-oras-music/) This interview can’t be faked or bad translated because this article included cover art of that newspaper with Go Ichinose and Hitomi Sato.
Yesterday I found out that Game Freak released soundtrack from only-Japan Soriti Horse (Soriti Horse Original Soundtrack ソリティ馬 オリジナルサウンドトラック (http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%82%BD%E3%83%AA%E3%83%86%E3%82%A3%E9%A6%AC-%E3%82%AA%E3%83%AA%E3%82%B8%E3%83%8A%E3%83%AB%E3%8 2%B5%E3%82%A6%E3%83%B3%E3%83%89%E3%83%88%E3%83%A9% E3%83%83%E3%82%AF-%E4%B8%80%E4%B9%8B%E7%80%AC%E5%89%9B/dp/B00PGG9D3S)) on request by the fans. Music for this game was composed by Ichinose (he is also lead game designer) and it’s amazing, better than recent Pok�mon scores. Not only compositions and arrangements, it also sounds better, especially brass samples.
Listen to samples from this site (http://shop.2083.jp/?pid=82108401). Isn’t it awesome? I’d love to get this album so much more than ORAS Music Complete. Even if I want to buy it by myself, I can’t purchase anything from abroad for some reason, especially Japan :<.
