Yes, that’s JHFan’s original thread. Whilst this version was produced in the digital domain, JHFan (for his version) had to painstakingly rip 6x channels in analogue by playing the disc back three times then splicing the three stereo analogue tracks together.

^^Which was a heck of a challenge and I was never very happy with it. It sounded nice enough, but I knew where the flaws were, so to speak. The front channels were clipped and the rears had to undergo some filtering because my computer at the time couldn’t handle the full resolution of the disc without some background ‘hiss’ in the rears. This is the ultimate improvement, being able to enjoy the disc I initially purchased, but without the need for that player which is long gone. I’m very happy this all worked out beautifully!

Thank you very much for both scores.
I listened the SACD tracks this afternoon in the living room using the 5.1 surround speakers, it was amazing 🙂
Now I am trying the other score in stereo on the PC using the headphone, just a fabulous score !

Thanks again for sharing this score with the forum, I didn’t like the movie but the music is great, a very good score (IMHO) by James Horner and
an amazing quality, thanks to you.
