I Put a Spell On You – Hocus Pocus

I’m just curious, has anyone ever posted a decent audio rip of the version of "I Put a Spell On You" Bette Midler sings at the Halloween party in "Hocus Pocus?" I know the DVD / Blu-ray has 5.1 sound, so in theory couldn’t someone have split those and eliminated some of background noise (maybe)? Again, I’m not really looking for a straight-up rip of the scene or the end credits version, I’m just curious if anyone has ever encountered one that sounds better than just a rip of the DVD, because I’ve done that just myself.

So you basically want the studio version of the song. Dito! I would love to have a full version of it! It doesn’t make sense they never released it on the soundtrack for the film.

Pretty much. Failing that someone would have the studio version, which feels unlikely at this point, I’d settle for an "as good as possible" version ripped from the 5.1 channels on the DVD. Hell, if someone would post the separate channels, I’d take a whack at it, but unfortunately I don’t know how to rip individual audio channels on a Mac, just how to edit in Audacity etc.
