A big thanks to you and Mother Russia, of course!
Thanks!
Hmmm maybe they were coming from a vinyl too, but they sounded different though…

Without a doubt one of the worst "major motion pictures" in cinematic history. (Actually HTD is a very, very, very minor motion picture.) Ranks, and it is rank, along side such other big budget box office bombs as Ishtar, Heaven’s Gate, Adventures of Pluto Nash, John Carter and Cutthroat Island. Theater owners for years were pissed at George Lucas for foisting this turkey of an anthropomorphic duck onto them. Created a financial crater that could swallow a black hole. A good example of how talented people can get it so completely wrong.
Hmm well gee I got more thanks for this rip than any other rip I did. (ok ok I didn’t do much before though lol)
So I assume many people liked it, or at least liked some tracks.
Also it kinda have a cult following.
I admit it’s definitely not among my favorite movies. I watch it just for fun. 80s were full of movies with positive energy, and I love it!
Just watching some random scenes for a few minutes gives me energy! (or depresses me when I come back to the 2010s and realize how grey the world is nowadays, it depends lol)
Don’t take everything seriously, it’s the 80s! yay! 😮
It’s so bad that has its own "cult status"…
and now i’m downloading the soundtrack
Thank you for your work…

80s films were great and this was fun,
There might make a new one you never know, after he appears at the end of the guardians film.
Quite a few marvel superheroes crossover in his comics
And you wanted advice? Not sure if it’s the vinyl source or your settings, but there is no music existing above 15 000 Hz/channel. The audio frequency stretches up to the standard 22 100 Hz/channel but the music stops at 15 000
Well I encoded in 44100hz, MP3/320kbps…
I checked in the properties of the audio files, and I also opened them in Audacity…
It seems ok… (O_O)
Edit : … I encoded to FLAC, not mp3…. ugh… Need… Sleep…
Maybe not all the people have the knowledge about lossless–lossy
But well it’s even weirder then. Flac IS lossless….
Ugh… Gee this is so weird. Well I used "FormatFactory" to do that…
But I think maybe I should stick to "foobar2000"…
Edit :
I opened some old mp3s of another source of Howard the Duck, which I got from a torrent website…
And the spectogram shows it goes to 17k and then it stops suddenly. Nothing above it. Weird.
I wonder if I can get another source…
As you can see in my screenshot, the FLAC covers up to 22050 HZ/channel but there is no music above 15000 Hz. Which is a clear indication that the source is not lossless

If you open an MP3 and get that result in the spectogram, it’s nothing weird. That’s how encoding in MP3 generally works, by removing frequencies and thus making the files smaller.
