Track 3 is taken from the season finale. Wall Carvings is the part just before the end credits where Coulson starts to carve the mysterious signs into the wall. That theme carries over into the end credits which is totally different from the first two tracks here. I simply removed the center channel (from Wall Carvings, not the end credits) so there will be some slight sfx left, but nothing too distracting. Also bundled them all up into one file linked to here

About the show: it was quite nice at the beginning, but nothing else… And just damn-great after a Hydra-revelation! And Bill Paxton is simply stealing every scene he is in!

If you haven’t watched the TV-series Agents of SHIELD, do so. The last 3rd of it happens at the same time as Winter Soldier and deals with the same stuff from a different point of view. In some scenes you can even see stuff that’s happening in Winter Soldier on the monitors in the background, like a helicarrier crashing. And i suspect that season 2 (that starts today, btw) will follow up on that even more and at the same time pave the way for Captain America 3

Season 2 of SHIELD is a lot better. It is more serious in tone and more action. I like it that Coulson’s team is more of a rogue group now that is trying to get allies and finding "gifted". You have the Absorbing Man in the first two episodes working for HYRDA and even Blizzard. I think Mockingbird will be making an appearance so it is nice that the show is giving some lesser known characters from the comics the spotlight. There are darker plots specifically concerning the team due to the aftermath of Season 1 so it is a much better dynamic this season, imo.

As for the soundtrack anyone hear anything on a release? Bear McCreary is keeping very quiet about it.

Well… there was not much salvageable because of the SFX. It was throughout all the channels. However, i tried my best with a piece at the end (about 3:18 long). It’s the scene before Malek comes along in his car and meets Ward I had to remove the first part of it because it had too much SFX to be enjoyable. This has some weird shrieking noise at about 1:08 and the sounds of the rockets being fired at about 1:25 and between that what sounds like a helicopter noise. Other than that, i managed to get it reasonably SFX-free. Let’s hope for the complete piece when the official release gets here.

Also did a rip of the End Credits from that episode. Keep an eye on the first post and i will post links to the new stuff there later.

Ok, there you go people, check out the first post for some more music. Unfortunately not any end credits since it was the same so far in season 3 as in the whole of season 2 as the first one from season 1. Still, this is SOME of the music from the dramatic end of the season finale. I decided to edit out a little part of it because of too much SFX and also to end it before the Malik scene.

TAKE NOTE: Beware of some audible SFX for perhaps 20 seconds. The rest is pretty ok in my opinion.

I hope it’ll be part of the Season 3 OST if there is one, which I’m not sure of because I don’t notice an OST for Season 2. On top of that, aside from La-La-Land which usually has everything, official releases tend to leave out a good and ultimately some of the best music of the show. Still, I’ll remain optimistic about it being included should there be an OST.
