Muramasa Rebirth / Oboromuramasa
Genroku Kaikitan DLC Music Collection
"I got to know about these DLC trough a request of the soundtrack. This was my first time working on a rip of this, and it was painful… I have no skill for vita-shit, so I did the best I could.
I love this game, back in Wii. I love Basiscape musical dudes very much. 🙂 I only did this because of my love for the game, and for the guy who requested it."
Now the all DLC were released, all 4 new soundtracks can be found here 🙂 I did some changes since the last work. I hope the changes might be of your liking. Also some additions were made.
either way. Enjoy. 🙂

There seems to be an issue with the link though, its said ‘temporary error’ after I click download for the past 40 or so minutes.
Yeah its working now (using firefox), I tried Chrome when it didn’t work in firefox a few hours back. It was probably just an error over at Mega itself, since the downloads going now with firefox no issues.
Once again, thanks for this, great stuff! Can’t wait for the final DLC.
Has the 4th DLC been announced the released date?
If the PSvita game is a port from the original wii release more the reason they should have put it for wii.
And thank you for being the only one pointing that, since everyone else was happy enough with what I offered.
And thank you for being the only one pointing that, since everyone else was happy enough with what I offered.
No im sorry but anyway thanks for that <3
Thank you so much. You have honestly made my day. <3
….. And I was like
"4th FLAC what?"
xD
2 days after my B-day. :p cool
The 4th DLC released earlier this week, and i think it might be my favorite soundtrack of all the DLC. I really hope you will be able to rip that one as well. That final boss music <3
Because if its the music I hope people are not going to post like tomorrow will end "rip chapter 4 please" "chapter 4 music, NOW".
Hold your horses. The music for the 4th chapter will come and it has to come.
Just keep enjoying the music from here first, so you can be ready to get happy with the next installment. :p
I don’t have a psp, and I surely will not pay for the dlcs. I wait till someone (in my resources) puts an iso of the DLC so I can hack it.
Until then, you just have to wait.
But I have read somewhere that there is no new music and it uses some tunes of the arranged soundtrack .
I will see that later.

All the music is new except the final boss.
When I have it done you will get it guys. 🙂
Just read two posts above you. We will get it eventually, just give it some time.
I want to say that , I have not had time to work on it, but as soon as I can work on it, I will, and share immediately. For the time being it is not certain how much it will take for me to go back to it.
I hope you guys show some understanding, because I have really not had time not even for my own other projects and less personal life.
I am sorry for not being able to deliver this as I wanted so much. 🙁
take as much time as you need
i’ll be thankful just to have it at all, the wait is irrelevant 🙂
Cuz i wouldnt mind making a higher quality encode for those who want it
Unless they were low to begin with
When you have time of course
I don’t have the original sources I worked on the rips. I got something like "ISO" of the dlcs, and then studied a bit in how would I hack it, which was not that easy. I took the music out, and then deleted the sources.
I thought I had his in VBR -V0, but now I remember why I let it stayed in 128kbps. It was not worth it having in VBR -V0, the best mp3 sound, because the sound itself of music did not reach 120 kbps. :/
I can try getting again the "ISO" from a friend of mine who helped me working on this to make it in VBR -V0 if people want, but that will pain in my ass at the moment, because I have no space right now in my HDD to work on or download such large files.

I see
Well thank you for the info

I wouldn’t mind getting those iso if that’s alright?
I noticed while playing gonbe’s story that there is a new theme that plays when looking at a restaurant menu
First: I want to thank Son of Kalas for remembering to PM me about this project, that I did not forgot. I know very well all of you are very anxious in complete soundtrack collection. My personal life has been very full and I have been with no time at all for anything else and dedicate heart and soul to this project.
Second: I wanna thank too 開陽 (http://forums.ffshrine.org/members/-and-38283%3B-and-38525%3B-704607) for sending me a pm with someone else’s rips. In that package, I found some tracks in a somewhat better quality in sound, but don’t expect much.
Third: just about 4 or 5 weeks ago i got the last ISO file (kid off) for the last DLC. It took me sometime and hard work in trying to rip the music as I had to do it in a very different way as I did before.
I also took time in ripping Again the previous DLC music to try to find a way to get a better sound quality. I swear I did try it, but the results are not the best as I wanted to offer you guys.
FLAC is out of the question, not because I don’t like FLAC and it’s useless for me, but it’s useless to work flac from a lossy sound of the game in the first place.
I am still trying to decided with the fact if I still Split the "Stage Tracks" into A and B versions, or if I will let it be as they are. I originally did some cuts and edits, in splitting the tracks, and instead of leaving the fading in, I chose where would be the good starting point.
It has come to my attention that there were missing tracks. I did the rips again, and they are still missing. That is where 開陽 shared package comes to aid, and I will use that help to fulfill the holes on my said "Complete Music Collection".
Fourth: I am planning this weekend to be the days I will work on these, and released it all during weekend or in Monday. It all depends if the universe let me work on it or not. But I hope to finish this one project and move on to some other forgotten "Baby"
Stay Tuned 🙂
Tomorrow I will start working with the audio files to be able to release it complete.
The bonus part of the package, I updated it with new screenshots, bigger ones, and more character pics added too.
The audio files in the game start with "fade in" in some songs, so I decided not to edit it in any way and leave the tracks raw in that sense.
Still deciding some other issues to work on this release or not. Hope to have this ready soon enough. 😉
This week is getting very hard to work in little projects like this one, but i am still working on it.
I was thinking in making a complete soundtrack and collecting even the already released tracks, just because they also appear in the DLC, but I decided not to do that.
I will go back in working in old format.
Tracks will have to be edited after I gave a a listen, they will need a bit of work in fades because they stop out of sudden climax. I had a problem in converting some of the raw audio into audible formats. I had to go to what might sound "caveman" and record the audio itself while playing it and then re-encode to other format. It was bit pain in the ass to do it, but I manage to get my way around.
I don’t have time to do anything in the tracks right now, as I am too tired from my daily work, but be sure that it’s almost complete and soon to upload. 😉
Stay tuned!

It’s finally here. 🙂 Go everyone, grab it and enjoy, and have fun, and have orgasms…. oh sorry, the last part. 😀
So the minor changes were:
– added the PV music kindly shared by 開陽, and used them as, opening for the "cds". Had to ehance a bit the volume, as they were too low compared to gamerips.
– added new screenshots and new extra stuff regarding the DLC only.
– Music files have tracklisting in English. The original japanese names were added in txt file.
– as I said before, I decided to not split the "Second Act" and "Final Act" into A and B, and left them as one only track as it was.
– added the missing music of DLC 1.
– worked the best I could in better audio quality, knowing that PSvita is just awful in that sense.
– edited most tracks with fade in and fade out, for a better listening and enjoyment experience. You would not want feel mad when the song has a sudden stop at the climax.
– the titles of the chapters are in english, yes; but the I decided to keep the japanese mythological point of each story. (Bakeneko, Shiro Hebi, Oni Mususme, Ikki)
– I personally don’t like to have in all tracks as artist "basiscape", but sadly you just can’t know who who is in the music for a better tagging. For example, I have know idea who is the singer in the DLC2 ending and she is not credited. I guess it is Asuza Chiba, but that is just a guess.
I hope you all like the new changes, and love the music as much as I do. I worked on this with love, bits of love, as I could not give it much attention in better way. But believe me, this was all made full of love. ^_^
Have a nice listening!
PS: "Mountain Witch" kicks ass
please let me know if you can get the iso-like files again, id love to try my luck at finding the missing cutscene and menu music
Sadly those are not audio, but rather a video with sound. They are not even video files.
I tried and looked on youtube and other video social websites like nicodouga and nicovideo to get someone who had done some walkthroughs about the dlcs or games. If there was I would rip the video file from the side and then worked on the audio, sadly, the menu song is not displayed not even in 3 secs, and no one ever did a video with that song only. Best I found was russian video about dlc4 but the guy just could shut the fuck up and talked all the damn entire video like his batteries were endless and no music was able to be get out of it.
Don’t ask me about those dlc "isos" again, please. They are really a pain in the ass to work on, I doubt my friend will to them a third time for me again, has the second time I asked him he was not very pleased. Sorry that I don’t want to take the risk of getting him mad at for asking it a third time. I understand, I do understand how much you want to work those for hacking sake and put your skills in to motion, I get that.
My best guess is doing a third pack only when, just WHEN, someone on youtube or other video social websites actually make videos with those songs. OR someone who could rip the audio from Wii game version. I have not played it a looooooong time, so I don’t remember if those tracks where also there or not. I wanted complete audio gamerip of the original wii game to compare the soundtracks.
The missing cutscene song is the one on the last DLC? I think the first DLC had a cutscene song that was nowhere in the soundtracks.
Ill replay them and see about doing a line in recording from the audio jack of my computer
This may take some time though
I need to find a good recording software
Any suggestions?
There are several missing tracks starting from the second dlc on
Ill record them and upload them for you to add to the collections
Sigh
I was really hoping to avoid the line in route
One again im really really sorry to have annoyed you
Try mp3 Editor Pro it records in wav in line sound or not. If you cant find it, let me know and I will upload it for you.
you are sure the missing tracks are not already in the released soundtracks?

Son of Kalas
Now it’s my turn. :p Do you have news on the music I could not get?
My computer broke down
i also need a better sound card
ill start on it as soon as i have my comp back
I just remembered to ask you, because I have been sorting my shared game music to another mega account, and so I have to update all links in here.
You do it when you can, feel like, whatever. No rushes. 🙂 Live your life freely 😉
so THANK YOU 🙂
Damn! Final Act in Chapter 3, is really my damn favorite track. I really do not regret in making them into one track. It goes so beautiful with each part. This track really get’s onto my skin.
We are aware of the missing music
there are also main themes from later dlcs missing
Im waiting on my new soundcard to rip them via line-in

My favorite DLC… is tough call. 🙁 I love the Bakeneko inspiration and tale on DLC1…. but DLC3 of the White Snake….. I think the final act was the breaking point on me. 0.0 I can’t really say which I loved the most. But I might go on top with the White Snake…. But … Bakeneko…. argh. its really difficult.

I do wish that in some way, this dlc game could be all together for the 3ds. 🙁
Or maybe get a used vita, if dont want to support sony
Running final fantasy IX was a pain as it was, and it still does not run 100% perfect… maybe 95%.
I am hopping they release into a Nintendo console, because… muramasa was first on Wii, so… I still have hopes.

If you were running the emulator on a laptop, make sure to switch the laptop battery / power setting to high performance instead of balanced. Also keep it plugged in when running the emulator. I very much doubt it was your computer. Its most likely a setting issue. Most smart phones can run ps1 emulators these days. Your computer would have to be very very old to not be able to run a ps1 emulator. Its most likely your settings or configuration. If you want i can try to help you figure it out via skype or teamviewer or something
I am hyped 😀

aww, if I had known it was going to be on Itunes, I wouldn’t have special ordered it from japan.
I was hopping amazon would be having it to order it physically and not digital. I was honestly kinda sad. :/

If you wan’t I can do a 1 to 1 iso rip of the cd, and make high quality scans of the inlays an art. that way you will have everything that comes with the cd (Albeit digitally)
with a 1 to 1 iso and a good mounter it will function exactly the same as having the cd in the cd drive
Do you know how to mount ISOs?
Lol, I thought so. Just had to make sure

Song Name: Rice Flower (稲の花, Ine no Hana)

Composition: Azusa Chiba
Song Vocals: Saki Fujita (Otae’s Voice Actor)
does anyone here Know where I can find the romaji and an english translation for the song lyrics?
About the lyrics… I can read your scans. That font on kanji always messes up my eyes and I see squat. I would not mind translating, but the issue is as I presented.
Also, someone on vgmdb gave much bigger scans then yours. The lyrics page, I can understand some kanji, but others not. So don’t count on me for it. Sorry. :/
