Programmed to win money he throws to everybody an invitation to be his friend that way you see all his uploads (taken from here and other sites) if you download from one of his dreadful hosts and luckily for him you buy a premium account with them he wins, this is his goal the real purpose.

We do not need a parasite stealing the work of others. With all the open links he has posted of FSM and Varese titles over the many months,I don’t understand why he hasn’t been permanently banned for that reason alone. See thumbing your nose at moderation and doing as one pleases,with no worry of repercussion.

We have enough members here willing to share a boatload of movie and music soundtracks, with safe downloads. Just speaking for myself,I will not visit that website for fear of spyware grabbing my computer with "download executioners" instead of excruciatingly slow direct links,when one is lucky enough to get them.

Many people when challenged just shrug and say "you can’t expect me to remember where I got this from do you" or "they are not the composer… they stole it too". Well I do expect people to remember where they got things from. That is precisely what I do myself, and in the rare event that I can’t then I explain that, and give as much info as I can. It’s not rocket science, just evidence of efforts to regulate what I do. This is all part of my mostly giving up on re-uploading things on the forum. The attitude of entitlement, the inability to read past their own posts, and the attitude that the forum should craft its rules to suit only them.

I’m going to throw in my two cents here because I just don’t see what you guys are seeing. I don’t know topaktro, so I can only go by what I observe here. From what I HAVE observed, topaktro simply reposts things on uploaded. Most of us post/share via Mega and certain countries have issues with Mega. If he’s just reposting stuff so more people can have access to it, I don’t really see the harm.

You guys keep talking about "being robbed" and "not getting credit," but most of his links are now within the original poster’s thread, so it’s pretty obvious who to thank. I don’t usually use his links because I prefer Mega, but when I do I still thank the original poster as well.

As for other people supplying him with material, I don’t know where anyone gets that idea. If the links to material are openly visible them why would he need anyone else’s help? Is he getting material that’s been kept from him because of other people not responding to PMs? If so, is there proof? And aren’t there other places on the Web to get stuff as well? I don’t know – it just seems like wild speculation to me.

The thing is this: he never responds to anything. ANYTHING. That allows everyone’s imaginations to run wild. I admit, I might be wildly wrong here. It’s possible, I just know that when I read all these posts bagging on him they seem to be blown up into showing much larger than its warranted.

As for the "friends with him" thing, he was the first person who friended me when I was new here. For that reason, I am still "friends" with him here. You’re going to hold that against me? Fine. It’s silly – I’m a good member of the forum, always giving thanks, likes & rep, sharing what I have to offer, and not conducting secretly business behind the scenes – but whatever; do what you think you have to do.

By the way, this isn’t aimed directly at you, bishtyboshty. Yours just seemed like a more articulate post and therefore a good one to respond to. This is really just my two cents based on what I’ve read in this thread and others.

I’ve read all the way through the thread. I still don’t get it. Everyone here knows KevinG is the original poster – we’re in HIS thread. I thanked him myself (post 42) and hit "like" and gave him rep points. Tapoktro’s post is here in this thread. It’s not his own thread, it’s KevinG’s. All he did was supply a link to a different download site. Not everyone has access to Mega. I stated all of this before – it’s all still true. So what exactly is he stealing?

Is it likes and Rep points? If so, I can understand that, if that’s really important to you. So Tapoktro should add a line saying "give likes and Rep to the OP." Wouldn’t that solve that issue?

Seems like only Soundtrekker gets the fact that he never says ANYTHING. He just relentlessly supplies alternate links to uploaded. Clearly he has an account with them. Who cares? The point about this is that he’s not "claiming" anything as his own. He just supplies the link & album info. In the OP’s thread (which could be seen as a way of acknowledging the OP). Who knows though? Nobody, because he never says anything. Nothing good, nothing bad.

He USED to start separate threads but that seems to have stopped. By changing that behavior and putting his reposts all in the OP’s threads, doesn’t that imply that he’s acknowledging the OP?

The only thing I really know is this: he supplies alternate download links to uploaded. I assume he downloads the linked files of the OP and then reposts them, but he at least does it in the OP’s thread. He doesn’t ask for anything (likes, etc…). It’s difficult to draw any of the conclusions other people are drawing based on this info. Annoying, maybe, but harmful?

I will say this though: if someone like KevinG is really upset by this, then maybe the courteous thing to do would be to NOT do it in that poster’s threads (and not as separate threads either, of course). Seeing as how he conducts zero communication, however, I’m guessing the odds of that are slim.
