If I Stay Original Motion Picture Score – Hector Pereira

Hi guys!

So If I Stay is coming out in two weeks, and I was wondering if we are ever going to get a release of the score, done by Heitor Pereira. I’ve looked high and low and browsed the If I Stay official website for weeks now, and have heard no mention of a score release…which is weird considering most big-release movies get a release of the score as well as the soundtrack.

Does anybody have any info on that? I thought this would be the best place to ask, considering you guys know so much and are up-to-date on news within the film score world.

If it doesn’t get an official release, will it get an underground release? I saw the trailer for the music and one of Mr. Pereira’s pieces from the score was used in the first part of it…it’s absolutely mesmerizing!

All I see is the soundtrack that has music from the movie as well as the band music that Adam plays in. It also contains a few of the cello pieces that were played. As for any of the score I haven’t heard or seen anything. Speaking of which if anybody has the soundtrack I would like to get a copy of that. Thanks.

All I see is this which says soundtrack was released on the 19th and the movie will be released on the 22, but no mention of the score:
