The CD is from my personal collection and the disc was ripped using EZ-CD Audio Ripper.

I bought this album fifteen years ago and it still gets regular play in my library. If I make a formal request for the complete score release, will it happen? Ya know, "so let it be written, so let it be done!"

This soundtrack LP has terrific stereo sound!

I will post the complete score soon but it doesn’t have the same sound quality as the soundtrack I posted today.

The reason for that is, this is a "Re-Recording". Bernstein went back into the studio, some years later and produced this (subset) album (which was a very common procedure back then).
I’m not suprised it sounds different because the instrumentation / placement of the orchestra is quite different from tracks originally recorded for the movie.
