Hello, all.

I recently purchased Project X Zone and love the game as well as the way music is used in it. However, for a 3DS game I feel like they could have put more effort into the quality of the songs. I assume they may have been going for an arcade-esque style sound, but it sounds like music quality from a DS game. Although, the music does sound better while playing the game as opposed to just listening to it. But still!

So here I propose we all post links to all of the original or remaster versions of the PXZ versions of songs found in the game and make a soundtrack like that.

I don’t have them uploaded yet, but I’ll have links for all the MegaMan stuff up if people are interested in this. Likely God Eater, Resonance of Fate and Sakura Taisen as well.

Also, as an example for using remasters instead of original versions, I have Zero’s theme from Maverick Hunter X and music from the remake of Sakura Taisen.

And in the case that a song has both a vocal and in-game instrumental version (ex: Sakura Taisen and Sakura Taisen V), both would be preferred.

I’ll be using the Thread 138668 as a tracklist, so that should help.

20. Volcanic Rim Stage [Steet Fighter IV]
21. Theme of Ryu [Steet Fighter IV]
22. Theme of Chun-Li [Steet Fighter IV]
29. Opening Stage X {MegaMan X4]
30. Theme of Zero [MegaMan Maverick Hunter X]
31. Flutter vs. the Gesselschaft! [MegaMan Legends]
34a. Manifest! Imperial Floral Assault Group [Sakura Taisen ~ In Hot Blood]
34b. Declaration! Imperial Floral Assault Group [Sakura Taisen ~ In Hot Blood]
35. Main Theme [Sakura Taisen ~ In Hot Blood]
36a. Declaration! Imperial Floral Assault Group~Final Chapter Instrumental [Sakura Taisen 4]
36b. Declaration! Imperial Floral Assault Group ~Final Chapter~ [Sakura Taisen 4]
37a. Surface Warrior (Title Background Version) [Sakura TaisenV]
37b. Surface Warrior (Opening Version) [Sakura Taisen V]
38. Hope [Shining Force EXA]
39. WORLD’S LOVE [Shining Force EXA]
42a. Theme of Valkyria [Valkyria Chronicles II]
42b. Theme of Valkyria ~Guitar ver.~ [Valkyria Chronicles III]
43. OPEN FIRE! [Valkyria Chronicles III]
44. If You Wish For It [Valkyria Chronicles III]

That’s the tracklist so far. I don’t have "36. Under The Imperial Flag (From Sakura Wars)," so what’s in its place is the closest thing I could find. The "a" and "b" files are in-game instrumental first and vocal version after.

Sorry it took so long for me to update, but that’s all so far. I’ll get around to adding Resonance of Fate and God Eater, but I think that’ll be all I’ve got. If anyone out there has anything to contribute here, it’d be much appreciated. If not, I can always scour the Internet for the rest on my free time. It’ll take longer, but I don’t plan on leaving this alone until I finish it.

Each time new stuff is added I’ll update the link there.
