There is a mistake in this record. Orff’s O FORTUNA does not appear in Pasolini’s film; what appears (during the scene of mutilations seen through telescope) is the same composer’s Gregorian-styled VERIS LAETA FACIES, also from CARMINA BURANA. At the end, two of the militia guys get tired of it and dial the radio, whereupon the dance piece appears (SON TANTO TRISTE).
